    I agree with your reply. I call around 4 PM Pacific time and usually get connected to a rep immediately. I never try to

    call on Mondays.

  2. We have sailed on Thanksgiving on various Princess ships over the last seven years and can honestly say as some others

    have posted the Thanksgiving dinner was not exciting at all and really no decorations.  I bring my own decorations so that I can decorate the door to our room.  We suggest have dinner at the buffet because  

     they carve the turkey up there and you can make your own choices on sides etc.

  3. Cruise date April 04. Caribbean Princess cancelled by Princess on March 12.

    we chose option 2.

    We received FCC. Our future cruise deposit  was returned to our account last week.
    Remaining full balance returned to our credit card today.

     

    We hope everyone receives good news in the next few days.

    I think very few are uncomplicated, some pay with different cards so each has to be calculated, some with gift cards and bonus gift cards and don’t have old cards, some book airfare either flex or restricted, some book excursions, some order gifts, dinners, booze, water etc using different cards to pay.     Unfortunately the uncomplicated ones fall in the pile with the complicated ones.  

    I agree many refunds will be complicated. That is why we are being patient and waiting for ours even though ours isn’t complicated. We love the Princess product and have every intention of booking with Princess again in the futuse.😄

  5. Our refunds due us for March and April are not complicated. Both cruises were paid in full many many months ago.in fact one was paid in full in 2019. Princess canceled both our cruises so we are entitled to the 100% that we paid. Chose option 2 for refund and received acknowledgement on March 12.   We have no prepaid gratuity or airfares or anything else. All we keep getting is these generic emails we know you are waiting for refunds and you are in the queue.For those of us receiving these emails how much longer must we wait?

     

    I know these are very trying times and I feel I am being very patient. I just hope I get my refunds before I get yet another email telling me I am in the queue.

    We received the same two notices. We are still waiting for our refunds for March 08, 2020 and April 04, 2020 cruises.

     

  7. I have a question for those who have already contacted their credit card companies. If you did a

    reversal of the charge for the balance of your cruise what happens to your initial deposit? We used

    Future Cruise Deposits for the down payment and then when due paid the remaining balance in full. So I can only reverse

    for  that remaining balance.Will those FCD's go back into our Princess account. Our cruises were cancelled by Princess.

  8. My DH and I both received this same email tonight and it was the first email we have had from Princess since choosing Option 2 refund on March 12. We too noticed first thing that no date was given as to when to expect our money.

    I called Princess in regards to 2 cruises that we had booked which were canceled by Princess. They told me to contact

    my Travel agent.  I call that passing the buck since the travel agent didn't do anything to cause all of these problems.
