Where can you eat for free on Oasis?
meadowlander replied to vswan's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Used to be on boardwalk but no longer there. Allure may still have 'boardwalk donuts'. -
I do not view your post as 'moaning' and from the likes you have received, neither do others. You listed your preferences and criticism in a thoughtful way without resorting to lies, exaggeration, contradictions and attacks on others because they challenge or disagree with your chosen words. Based on the overwhelming number of Brits who repeatedly complain because they expect new productions shows every cruise they sail, I do agree with your last sentence. For those that do the whining and find only negativity in their Royal cruises without a balance of positive experiences, please sail MSC, P&O, whatever cruise line. Hopefully if you all do and it has an impact Royal will lower their prices for those of us who cruise for enjoyment while having experiences onboard that lessen the pleasure but refrain from whining, exaggerating and presenting false misrepresentations.

Family boarding New Jersey Cruise at the same time
meadowlander replied to Nlexi912's topic in Royal Caribbean International
In 2021 when cruising resumed, Cape Liberty enforced scheduled boarding times. October of that year, hundreds who had arrived earlier than their boarding time waited outside the terminal. In December 2021, there were only a few who were waiting outside, they must have never heard of boarding times being enforced. I cruised May 2022, still enforced but by October no one was checking times. If you arrive before 10:30 you will have less time waiting on the approach to the terminal. Since you are sailing in August, most likely you will park in the outside lots. Some cruisers using the outside lots have reported paying on arrival day, others paid on disembarking. -
Family boarding New Jersey Cruise at the same time

Yes you will be able to board at the same time, from Cape Liberty. While other ports may still be enforcing boarding times, Cape Liberty ceased looking at appointments times no later than October 2022. Boarding times were enforced upon resumption of cruising at Cape Liberty but no longer are. You can all enter the terminal together, no one will ask to see your boarding time. After checking in, you will be directed to seats. Once suite-key-wheelchair cruisers have boarded other cruisers can and they enter in order of the row they are sitting in not their scheduled boarding time. All of you should be on the ship by 10:45, if you are in the terminal by 10 am. -
You are forgetting that the op is a diamond member and is entitled to receive 4 drinks with a combined value of $56. Op endures the hardships of Anthem for those extra free 4 drinks. We all should be offering "cheers mate" for the pain and suffering he endures as he alerts us of the tragedies he incurs for 4 free drinks & 50% off a Johnny Rocket milkshake! 🤑

As suggested by 'shipgeeks', Trinity Reservations in Hamburg NJ has a good reputation. I used them twice in Baltimore, first time a BW in Elkridge, last year a Hampton Inn in Baltimore. The hotel shuttle in Baltimore only had 1 drop time at the port & 1 pick up time from the port. Do check the shuttle schedule with the hotel. If you book with Trinity, your card will be charged the day of booking and under a different business name. I had to cancel another Trinity reservation once & I received a full credit to my charge card.

There is no viable off site parking location in Bayonne. If one of the options you Googled as sold out was on New Hook Rd or Old Hook Rd in Bayonne consider yourself fortunate! Have you looked into NJ Transit train as an option? From Hoboken terminal, Hudson Bergen light rail will get you to 34th Street in Bayonne (2 miles from the port) with a cab or Uber ride needed to the terminal.

Welcome to it. 😉

First the 'trailer park people' now the 'public education people'. Very interesting as Arte Johnson would say.

More sensical than your original post. Never saw a shortage of loungers on my 7 Anthem cruises. Had difficulty finding seating in the shade on those cruises. I have also endured the same production shows for more than 8 years without whining about it after every cruise. Yet you will endure such hardship, suffering and pain in the future all for up to $56 in free drink. Yes, that makes sense.😂
