It's the best thing Princess did to save money. Portions were way too large before.
Remember the seafood starter with 3 types of caviar. Then it was 2 types of caviar. Now it is no caviar at all.
Oh, you are in Riviera 210! 😄
That view from the balcony looked so familiar.
It was my stateroom on the Regal last year in November from Rome to Barcelona.
You were on that cruise, too.
It's a very nice fwd Mini Suite, isn't it?
Princess doesn't offer pre-cruise hotels in Southampton.
In London, you can chose from these (if you want to book with Princess):
- May Fair London
- Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge
- Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton
Yes, once onboard it shows the MDR menus for the day. And from around 10 pm for the next day .
No bar menus tho. You can also see the menus on your stateroom TV.
I've never seen this work as long as you are not onboard.
The dish at Sabatini's is called "Salumi" e Formaggi Misti, not Salami.
Salumi stands for sausage products in general. At Sabatini's it comes with Prosciutto Cotto, Salame Felino and Mortadella. Seems like the salame hides under the cheese.

The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is planned to be implemented in 2024, according to a European Union website about the system.
However, the website SchengenVisaInfo.com claims that ETIAS won’t be implemented until May 2025, according to unnamed European officials.
No delay has been officially announced by the EU, and Fodor’s has not been able to independently verify the information.
