  1. The above photos are actually the Super Bowl offerings on a Princess AU/NZ cruise.
  2. And this is what you get: Liked it.
  3. It depends on the waters you are sailing. On Asia / Aus / Kiwi and even Europe cruises, no one really cares.
  4. If spicy Buffalo Wings count, yes, they do.
  5. It truly depends on wind speed & direction / weather temperature / humidity etc. and what they burn at the moment. Its not only ship diesel, they burn thrash also from time to time. Mostly at night. I've never seen soot / smoke at the rear pool on Gem Class ships. But you will definitely find it on deck 17 at the basketball court. It can be a BBQ smnokehouse up there from time to time. 😁
  6. Post covid, sauna and steam were gone on the Emerald. Absolutely. Notably the new paid sauna and steam (Thermal Spa on deck 15) is lousy. The Diamond still has free sauna and steam. But who knows what happens right now at her Singapore drydock... I agree.
  7. This info is outdated. There is no more free sauna or steam on the Emerald.
  8. Samsung & Apple phones now make so nice HDR shots - it's amazing.. 👍
  9. Volunteer Point has by far the largest king pengiun population on the Falkland Islands. About 2000 pairs breed here.
  10. I'm just wondering about your screenshot. If I make a screenshot of the web version www.cruisemapper.com, it shows some extra infos like destination, ETA, ship speed, weather / wind and even swell.
  11. If it's the circle, it means the ship isn't moving at the moment. It's at anchor or at the pier. Triangle and path only show up when the ship is moving.
  12. They miss Singapore as well. And continuing, they will mis Salalah (Oman) and Aqaba (Jordan), too. This is sad, so many extra sea days and only very few replacement ports. However, this must be a logistical nightmare for Princess.
  13. It looks like the Norwegian Star skips Port Stanley tomorrow, as their AIS destination now indicates AR BSAS for Buenos Aires. Earlier, it showed FK PSY for Falkland. Port Stanley was on the Star's itinerary: 01 Feb 06:00 - 16:00
  14. Tomorrow will be a busy day in Port Stanley, as 3 ships plan to stop there: Azamara Quest (698 pax) Norwegian Star (2348 pax) Sapphire Princess (2674 pax)
  15. Considering the Caribbean instead of the Emerald is not the best idea. 😄
  16. If it has to be fresh seafood, you have to find a ship with a “The Catch by Rudi” restaurant. "the restaurant’s menu features The Daily Catch—the freshest, sustainably sourced seafood from local ports of call." https://www.princess.com/en-us/news/news-releases/2023/04/princess-cruises-unveils-the-catch-by-rudi-new-signature-seafood-restaurant The regular MDR seafood comes from the cooler / freezer. Same with Crab Shack I guess. So you have to choose the Enchanted, Majestic, Sky or Discovery to find this restaurant.
  17. It's definitely still on the travel summary PDF. This can be done just like the old days on the website / Cruise Personalizer. Just click on the Travel icon.
  18. You will find detailed transfer info in your Cruise Personalizer /Travel Summary. This was the transfer info for a January 2020 Panama Canal Cruise, departing at 4:00 PM. Meeting time was from 9:00 AM, the 1st bus departed around 10:00 AM:
  19. And still a joke when you realize where the ships docks in Victoria. Serious.
  20. I wonder, if this mandatory PVSA stop is listed in the cruise personalizer as a regular port stop anymore. It would make no sense.
  21. I think contract is over with them. Depending on where you cruise, Princess has some nice beers on the menu. Not so many years ago, Princess only had that main stream stuff on board. Things have changed. Enjoy your Lagunitas (lightyears better than a Miller Lite). 😁
  22. Going with teens, the better choose is the Sapphire. The sports deck is much bigger and better. Not Caribbean Princess, all agree.
