  1. Monogramming (is that a verb?) was offered, but modesty insisted that I decline. Actually it was DW who insisted I decline saying that I would look ridiculous answering the door to the mail person in a momgrammed robe. 🙄
  2. There is a supply of water and ice available 24/7 in Lido. It is perfectly adequate to drink and I find it easier to drink than canned water. Most reports have stated that it is possible to bring water onboard at ports of call (though not at embarkation). I can attest to this too.
  3. They may well do. I just bring water onboard from port days. Brought it yesterday in Gibraltar, and on two prior days in Spanish ports. 2 x 1.5 litres of natural spring water (Font Vella) cost €2.50 I have a screen grab somewhere listing some of the exclusios and inclusions, which i will try to locate. Today DW ordered a fresh orange & apple juice at gelato and we have been chared for it.
  4. How far do you want to travel for good beaches? There are beaches in all three that you mention. Sea view in front of you and city view behind you. All are clean at the start of the day. Amenities? You are on a city beach, everything is available including shopping. playa la malagueta in Malaga Barcelonetta playa in Barcelona Personally, I wouldn't waste any of my time in these wonderfull cities by sitting on a beach.
  5. Note that the package only includes specific waters. The "open water" 330 ml/12 fl oz of purified water in pull ring cans is included in the package. Other waters are not included.
  6. The bathrobe price is now $55, but still a great way to use up non refundable OBC and having pleasant memories
  7. An observation on the menus. This is a 14 day sailing and there would seem to be 14 different menus for Lido lunch, lido dinner and MDR dinner. The lido late snack appears to be a 7 day rotation.

  9. A sea day so lunch is avalable in both MDR and Pinnacle Grill. MDR Lunch menu
  10. Wednesday 1st May At sea off coast of Portugal. Sea day. Here is our position earlier this morning
  11. I have not noticed that they are being televised, either live or delayed tx. If i see the CD around i will ask.
  12. Good morning from Nieuw Statendam, currently sailing off the coast of Portugal with destination La Corunna, tomorrow morning.
  13. For example here are the events for tomorrow and here are the events for last Sunday
  14. I find it ok, but I can see a problem with a long cruise and being able to identify the individual day/dates. However, what I do not like (and you won't experience this until you are sailing) is that current and future dates both list events from earliest time thru to latest time (i.e. in chronological order) however for past days the events list in reverse order with midnight at the top of page and it is necessary to scroll right down the page for early times. I don't see the need for the difference.
  15. I am pleased that your pud's are 'naked'. Onboard NSDM they have constantly been dusted, unnecessarily in my opinion, with icing sugar on top. TMC (too many calories!). Eventually I sent a note via 'Let us know' that I was boycotting the pudding until they stopped with the 'powdered calories'.😋. Today's bread pudding was naked and all is good with the world again.
