We got off briefly in Coz (just went to the pharmacy) and for an even shorter amount of time in Roatan. When we saw the wind and amount of sea grass floating around we decided to just stay on the ship today. …but it doesn’t take much to convince us to stay on the ship. We almost never get off anywhere.

We might not be pounding the pier but our neighbor the World Voyager is gettin the crap beat out of her. I had to come inside. Just watching her bobbing and scraping the rubber bouncers (whatever they’re called) was making me nauseous. It’s been quite an experience watching that little cruise ship. I now know that I could never ever do one of those “boutique” cruise ships. It looks like a cork bouncing around in a washing machine. Also just watched an MSC ship come into port. Not sure where she’s going but….busy day for Costa Maya.

I thought the same thing….and a lady yelled from our ship over to a lady on the World Voyager and asked how long they would be in port. The lady answered “2 days”. Yikes.

So, is that Nicko World Voyage one of those condo cruise ships with full time residents ?

Random comments to variety of posts Definitely still having issues with the app. It comes and goes. Very frustrating. Glad Bella2 will not be in Jan. I will never book another O class ship (and will probably expand this to Icon) in Jan due to the mischief caused by Atlantis booking in Jan. Feb will be much safer How do I find the stair photos ? We went by Focus but have no idea how to find those photos.

If there is a true mattress topper on those mattresses, I’ve never noticed it. I wouldn’t worry about it being overly cushy. The only true pillow top mattress I’ve ever seen was in a Star Class suite and even there, the last one we had was not very soft at all.

We are not ones who normally care about the towel animals but we got this adorable tiny squirrel last night. So sweet.

I can’t wait for the swan parade to dinner. That should be very entertaining. From a distance that swan didn’t appear to be big enough for 2 adults. I guess I am mistaken. I’m sure they wouldn’t dare put the King and Queen into a mini-swan…😇 BTW, where is the restaurant with the ice entry ? I haven’t been there yet….or is the swan a reverse/modified amphibious vehicle that quickly converts from ice sled to Land Rover ? Either way….it will be fun to watch. Should we make arrangements to shower the ice with rose petals ? 😝

Yes. You can have your old WOW bands reprogrammed. Originally they said that only old WOW bands without the muster station printed on them could be reprogrammed, but Dan brought an old WOW band from an old cruise which did have the old [incorrect, of course] muster station printed on it and they successfully reprogrammed it (no charge)….so it seems that any old WOW band can be repurposed.

Exact opposite for us. Our room is like an iceberg. Lesson learned from last 2 weeks in CP balcony. Your AC will not work unless your balcony door is completely closed, the handle locked down and THE LOCK ON THE DOOR (up top…) IS FULLY ENGAGED (pushed in). We had done everything but the last step but the AC never came on. When the maintenance guy came and showed us the lock (which we had never even noticed), we were embarrassed….but the AC worked like champ after that ! In fact, it was freezing in there even when the thermostat was cranked all the way to the right. In other news, we also had trouble with water temp in our CP balcony. Never did get that regulated.

What all is going on today (for the group) ? I think it’s probably slot pull day but we missed out on that. What else ?

The D Concierge last week told us that the construction in the old Jazz Hall would take 2 weeks…so the temporary relocation of the D lounge should be this cruise and the next and then return back to its regular location after that.

I hope it’s raining in Port St Lucie. We’ve been dry as a bone ! Yes, the temporary move of the DL to Vintages/Music Hall is a result of the conversion of the Jazz Club over to a non-smoking casino annex. Not sure what they’re doing about the coffee situation. Hopefully someone who has been in there recently can help. The D Concierge (Norman) told us last week that the DL and Giovanni’s would be “sharing” the coffee machine, but I’m not sure what that really means.

To follow up on my earlier post, our room attendant said, no worries….no restriction on wash&fold laundry which is great news for us since we have holdover dirty clothes from last week. We’re in a suite but that shouldn’t matter…but you never know. So, our first w&f bag is already on its way. One really good bit of news re: C&A gifts…instead of the plate of stale cookies (which I had read would be going away) we got a nice fruit plate with an apple, pear and grapes. Much nicer than the cookies, which we always dumped.

Our filets at the CK were excellent. I thought the spinach was very salty…but I liked it. Off to a great start. Off to the Aqua Theater show. Very calm seas so we should be fine

Something about waiting on supplies of some kind. I’m going with some of the posts above and blaming it on the booze hounds on this thread. I image they’re already out of Kraken ! 😜😝

We were in a CP balcony on the previous 2 sailings (2-26 and 3-5) in one of the “29” double balconies (10629) and enjoyed it very much. The only problem I had was loss of “situational awareness”, not knowing whether we were docked or not. I did not miss seeing the ocean per se…just not knowing whether we were docked or under way was a bit of an issue sometimes. For the money, I think they are a great value. We would do it again only I think I prefer the bed by the slider, so I would get one of the “229” ones next time. I love sitting out on the balcony in the evenings…so beautiful in CP.

Surprised that we received all of our C&A gifts - 14 Cokes, 7 bottles of water and a bottle of sparkling wine. We had gotten all of these on the first 2 sailings but I feared that would change on this sailing. It didn’t. 🤗 I have not yet broached the subject of wash&fold laundry with our room attendant so not sure if we will be able to submit bags on 2 different days or just 1. Capt just announced that our 4:30 departure had been delayed until around 6PM but this won’t affect our time at PDCC (tomorrow).
