After many years being Tribe member, I’ve decided to step out and unfollow. To the tried and true members from way back when, thank you for being part of my life. We’ve shared our lives, ups and downs and made it through the pandemic. I’ve appreciate being able to share my photos and adventures. I will truly miss you.

Recent comments have made me feel attacked and ridiculed. I don’t need that in my life. Remember when snarky comments are made, you don’t know how it will effect someone.

I’m terribly sad that this is the end of my Tribe membership.

    Stay safe, stay well💕

    @Slainte57

I'm playing catch-up here & hope you see this message...

As part of the OG Team from the start of Sid's Reviews to Sid's Ay-Tee-El & The Tribe we truly do not want to see you go!!!
Your contributions, thoughts & words have been a shining light for us through the years.

And your photos have truly generated peace of soul for many, travel yearnings & memories for others (myself included).

The photos have spoken louder than most peoples words.
Life changes for all of us - I'm only on CC and The Tribe in fits & spurts these days myself...
Please do what's right for you - however, I'm selfishly hoping you'll find your way back to The Tribe &/or start a new page...
    Cheers - Von

  2. Wow - I am so far behind!

Spent sometime in remote Alaska again & working through some medical challenges w/ Johnny.

I didn't even know Toby Keith had passed, until reading on here.

That video was very touching - especially knowing now of his death.

He played the UAA Alaska Airline Center a few years back...

First time Pyrotechnics were used @ the Alaska Airline Center...
I had never really listened to Toby Keith before the concert - I was actually there on behalf of work.
We have a box at the Alaska Airline Center.

It appears I have a lot of catching up to do - approx. 42 pages worth.

    Cheers - Von

  3. If Johnny & I can get our lives together - we may just be able to join you all this time...
I haven't been on Carnival since 1991 & John has never been on Carnival 🙂

We need to get him through another back surgery b/4 he will even think about travel.

What's the Cancellation policy w/ Carnival if we were to book now?

  4. @Jamman54 & Patti Thanks for a Fantastic Review - including Pre & Post Activities!!!

When I lived in Orlando I used to alternate years of purchasing an Annual Pass for either Disney or Universal...

I spent 5 years in Florida between Tallahassee & Orlando (the Land of Mickey)...

With friends we'd occasionally hit up either Disney Village Market Place which became Downtown Disney or CityWalk...

    Johnny & I were back in Orlando DEC 2017 & spent a day @ Disney Springs & a day @ CityWalk...
    Loved the Boat House!

We also ate @ Pat O'Brien's - John had not been to New Orlean's yet at that point - so Hurricane's were a must & Crawfish Étouffée.

Thanks for the fabulous Review, pic's of the Tribe & the Memories!

    Cheers  --  Von

  5. A few years ago, I was on a flight from ANC to DBQ...
One of the legs was SEA to ORD - early morning flight.

I was in my traditional Row 17 (Exit) Aisle seat when 2 sisters joined me...

The younger sister was carrying 6 dozen Voodoo Donuts - I may have remarked "Wow someone's getting lucky today"...

They were headed to Wisconsin from O'Hare for a Family Event.

They showed me the contents & offered me a donut (no one will notice one missing).

I was happy to take them up on their offer 🙂
Snapped a photo of the boxes & my selection to text to family members living in Portland & munched on my donut...

  6. @Funsince1983

Dang you & your family can’t catch a break in the past few weeks!!

Hope your C-19 is short-lived & symptoms are mild.
Also hope the rest of the family stays healthy!!!

    @Hogladyrider

Thanks for sharing your cruise & fabulous photos w/ us!!

Hugs on the challenges you & your partner are facing.
How confusing it is in the beginning!!!

  7. Hello Sweet Girl.
Love your matching halter & blanket - hope you are feeling back to your old self soon!!!

Wish I could bring you some treats…

What’s your preference - Apples, Alfalfa Cubes, Oats, Brome Pellets, Carrots?

    Lot’s of Love!

@pirate4me2 - how heartbreaking for you!!!   May she regain all her strength, stability & confidence!!!

You are a special person to travel this road w/ her.

After a long 2.5 years of doctoring and struggling with setbacks and lots and lots of healing, my horse who had her bone come thru the bottom of her hoof went back to work yesterday! We didn’t do any riding, just groundwork under saddle to help get her back into a working state of mind and start building her muscles back up. Fingers crossed her foot stays strong and can handle a bit of riding in the future!

  8. @TxTeach79 and anyone else who is not feeling so well - Hope you are Feeling Great Shortly!!!
Wow TxTeach - sounds like the virus/bug is really hitting your school hard...
Hopefully you'll all be able to get rid of the germies & don't keep passing them back & forth!

@sid_9169  - As I was scrolling down on your steak meme - I kept thinking since when does Sid buy Cryovac steak instead of Fresh selected from the case & how's he going to prepare it...
Or is it perhaps Sous Vide & he's expanding his culinary methods...

Finally scrolled enough to realize it was a meme 🙂

  9. Wow- Hope you are feeling much better & they’ve reviewed the video of the incident.

Hopefully  they will take care of you/medical bills without you having to force the issue.

Sounds like they need to train their team members better.  What an experience after you fell & injured yourself, due to their negligence, to have the employee stop for seconds to check on you & not alert the MGMT Team to assist & complete an incident/accident report.

Wishing you the best time for your remaining cruise.  The cane could be a fun accessory.  It appears you are already making the best of the situation.

  10. Again...

    Total Hot Mess for me!

Not sure I'd be going on the cruise - let alone doing a Live Review in that case...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume he probably also doesn't know if she's going to be his wife anymore or not. I asked. We shall wait and see if he gives us some deets.
