  1. We board her next week, take good care of her!! Let us know why delayed, if you find out.
  2. We had key Jan 26. Arrived about 1040, were on board before 11. Quickest embarkation we've ever had. This was at San Pedro in los Angeles.
  3. Thanks for the reminder. Going 2 weeks + and want to take extra just in case, so ordered new container. Like that multi colored for day and night
  4. Since the end of covid, we've sailed 7 times, 5 on Navigator. The food in the MDR has slowly declined. Case in point, Turkey dinner. My DH loves all white meat and was very happy with it until our last cruise in Sept. The turkey didn't even look like turkey, but was a thinly cut piece of Turkey rolled around some dressing. Hardly any gravy. I made the mistake of ordering dark meat. Funny, they looked identical. Both were awful. It was their recipe for 5 cruises, so it's their inconsistency. We will not eat in MDR anymore. Rather pay extra for specialty. We enjoy Chops, Izumi and LOVED Hooked. We will keep doing UDP. Are we Foodies? I don't think so, but we do enjoy a nice dinner with tasty food.
  5. We are sailing Navigator Jan 26, the day Marc Walker leaves.😒😒 Who.Will take his place?
  6. AZ schools now going year round. Spring break is Feb, summer break starts in early may. Fall break is end of Sept. East coast totally different. Guess I'm saying school breaks are all the time. I agree about longer cruises. We try Jan, May, Sept, dec, but it's really a crap shoot. Good luck
  7. Side question- we have the following booked 7 day Navigator. 11/27 3 day Navigator 1/26 4 day Navigator 1/29 The last two are b2b We got unlimited dining on the 1st 2, but they haven't yet offered it on the 4 day. Does anyone know why? With the current sales, I'd like to take advantage of sale prices. Been looking daily.
  8. I picked up The Key for our 1st of b2b, 3 day. Don't need it for 2nd leg. Covers almost all of our voom. 4 day key was more. 7 day upcoming even more, plus we are in a suite. Still waiting for black Friday deals. Thanks for posting!
  9. Thanks, I'll call them tom and see what I can negotiate.
  10. We haven't used our 23 Tier Certificates from April because we weren't interested in an inside cabin. We are currently booked on a 4 day Navigator and would like to do a b2b adding Jan 26 to our Jan 29. Can we use he tier certificate and more importantly can DH and I combine these certificates to get a better cabin? I've searched and cannot find the answer. We are both diamond and prime.
  11. We always print our sea passes (and passports). We still use the app but it is hard to juggle everything .
  12. Thanks for for sharing. We booked yesterday, so probably won't work this time, but did get it verified future.
  13. I just checked our Navigator cruise in September and it showed 3 day package at $119 PP. it was at $159. Got it booked and it went through!!!
  14. I cruised Sovereign about 10/15 - 10/22/89. Don't remember price for that tiny inside cabin I the tween deck. Had fun and met life long friends. It was so huge back then. Thank you for sharing
  15. I talked to my Dr yesterday and he prescribed a diuretic for my next cruise. Hoping it works!!
  16. Sorry you had embarkation issues. We were on same cruise, arrived via Lyft about 1050 for an 1100 checkin. We did have a suite, so did get expedited check in. No problem getting porter but only had 2 bags. We were onboard by 1107. Saw the lines that probably caught you. We've sailed out of San Pedro 5 times in last 12 months, never had issues there. We sailed out of Tampa in Dec. Ships couldn't get to port due to heavy fog. Hours of delays with little to no communications from RCI. Finally got to ship at 9, waited in line 90 min. Boarded at 11 pm with a 11 am check in. Imagine 2 ships embarking and disembarking simultaneously.
  17. Just returned from a 7 day on Navigator. Slightly swollen ankles after 1 hr flight but continued swelling all cruise. Drank tons of bottled water daily. Moderate drinking. Did the alphabet routine. Will see Dr this week for routine chemo/immunotherapy, which I think are contributing. Can't stop cruising, so hope has some ideas. We've cruised 5 times in last year and always swelling. Thought I'd post to bring this back up to a top issue. I did notice quite a few others swollen cruise ankles. Any other ideas?
  18. We just got off Navigator yesterday. Department heads put in their wish lists two weeks ago, but haven't gotten results yet. They are going to Singapore for 6 weeks. Different opinions if they will have any passengers on board. The crew members we talked to were pretty excited about the journey. We earned more credits, not sure if going Jan, Feb or May. Already booked for this Sept.
  19. So, it looks like there will be NO sailings out of Low Angeles in March. That's a little odd for spring break month. Luckily, we usually sail Jan/Feb, May, Sept out of LA. So easy for us coming from Az.
  20. I think I'm just getting older. Haven't been there and don't really want to go. We like quiet, relaxing places. Prefer staying on the ship. We usually cruise when schools are in session. Yes, we've passed that line. Let the families enjoy. Been there, done that too.
  21. Try under Cruise Conversations......casino, I just found a flood of posts
  22. I have the same issue with swollen legs/feet. Found a CC thread Cruise Ankles. It was long but offered lots of ideas. My favorite was tracing the alphabet with your feet. I've tried it and it helped a lot. Looks silly and if you've imbibed too much you won't be able to keep track, May need to start over! Everyone have fun. Will follow along and c Dream about our next one in May.
