  1. PVP faq’s Q: What if I want to cancel my PVP coverage? How does that work? A: PVP is refundable until final payment is due. For new bookings made within final payment, the PVP plan cost is only refundable within 10 days of purchase provided the person hasn't departed on the trip nor filed a claim.
  2. Australian cruises that have AUD as the onboard currency. It’s not new.
  3. @Cruise Raider In addition to what @Abercrombie2019 says above if you drill down to a couple of the menus only the casual dining shows the addition of the 18% in the fine print on the last page. The SD menus do not. The service charge for those has always been built in to the cost. It’s possible that the 18% is just new for the casual and not the SD. I can’t remember if that verbiage has always been there. We will have to wait for reports onboard of what is actually happening. menu-sabatinis-trattoria.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf Salty-Dog-Menu.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf
  4. @Rick&Jeannie This suggestion may not help but I have comcast and I have my email set up as an IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) account instead of POP3. I don’t have any problems with emails on board. Of course IMAP does not clear your email from the server so you have to go in and delete them separately but it’s worth a try if you’re using POP. I have always had IMAP set up because we access email using different devices. I use Apple devices also, so that may be the reason, but I don’t see why it would make a difference.
  5. @doghogThey actually are not, even though that is the name they have. They are balconies and use to not have any furniture out there. Not sure it’s the same now.
  6. When we did around South America they had them almost the entire trip BA to LA. No big deal. They are not required to go ashore and no need for them onboard. They give you a receipt which you turn in when you get them back. If they are required ashore as with the excursion to Machu Picchu they will give them to you.
  7. Bookings automatically populate in the app a few days after booking. No linking is necessary. Access the app with booking number, name and BD or with ID and password. Then use dine my way to make reservations.
  8. For NY it’s because of the “cancel for any reason” clause. Not sure if it’s the same for BC. NY insurance guidance clause Under New York law, CFAR benefits in the travel context do not technically qualify as insurance because the cancellation of a trip “for any reason” does not depend on the occurrence of fortuitous event.
  9. You can only use OBC pre cruise for excursions.
  10. I believe the specialty drinks are available between the hours of 5-7 when they have the demonstrations. It should be listed in the patter.
  11. See Saint Greg’s live from page 55 post 1355(?). He has photos from the ship he’s on.
  12. “Explore dining options” only works onboard. To see specialty dining select the same option you chose for MDR and pick a day and then it should ask you to select MDR or specialty. I don’t have a booking right now so I can’t be specific in the terminology.
  13. That is definitely it. If you select 2 you will see there are a lot of minis available.
  14. Only one person can see both (if you’re on the same credit card). Have you tried looking with your wife’s login?
  15. Go to settings, general, iphone storage, scroll to the princess app and select. The version will show at the top. To check to see if it’s the latest version go to the Princess medallion app in the app store and look at the version history. If there is a new version you haven’t downloaded it will show a blue bar with “update”, if you’re current it will say “open”
  16. If you received the OBC it means you used the FCD as your initial deposit which should have reduced your final payment by the $100. There is nothing to get back.
  17. If I remember correctly, you can only access it while in port, it's locked when at sea. Not completely true. I’ve been on it sailing the glaciers in AK, the fjords in NZ and sailing under the Golden gate in SF.
  18. Then the OP’s iMessage should have worked as they use the same port.
  19. Depends on if the ship leaves the intranet ports open that allows access. See this thread for discussion.
  20. In the Piazza deck 5. Opposite the IC.
  21. Ask the barista if they could make it for you. Maybe when they aren’t real busy.
  22. Elites no longer get free internet. It’s 50% off.
