  1. Yes I realize that Amazon has many colors but they did not have black.
  2. I have purchased from Amazon back in 2019 however I tried to order a couple more in different colors from Amazon and they only had one color and they would not arrive until after our Aug. 5 cruise. So I found them on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/713982661/luke3dp-watch-adapter-for-holding-a?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=luke3dp&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&sts=1&organic_search_click=1 and ordered two more - shipped today and will be here early next week.
  3. This may help for cruises embarking in Canada (from Canadian Government's website) https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/cruise See the section titled: Pre-embarkation COVID-19 testing
  4. I am having the same issue so I did the Live Chat - the agent was not aware of any issues and said she escalated it to her supervisor. She said it sounds like maybe doing website upgrades or something. She said to keep trying and it 'should' be fixed. Yeah, right!
  5. We are at 30 days out for our August 2022 cruise and the Arrival Groups are still not available - it is really a guessing game!
  6. I really don't have any words of wisdom here other than have you maybe tried the Live Chat feature if available? I wanted to book a Window Suite for an Alaskan cruise last Friday but the Princess website only showed one suite available but I knew from searching come 'big box' travel agencies that all of the Window Suites were available except the handicap one. I tried the Live Chat and was able to book the cabin I wanted and the agent placed the booking on hold. I logged in later with the Booking Confirmation number the agent provided and made my deposit payment. Just a thought.
  7. I was able to do all our dining evening reservations using the online site - just hope the information is accessible/followed by dining room on the ship!
  8. Thanks @wallyj - I just booked airfare on a cruise I have booked but planned to drive to the port and I did see that I could book flights just for one person in the cabin IF I was logged into my account (or my husbands account). But your response makes sense and I actually thought of that after I posted my question. Many thanks again!.
  9. We have an Alaskan Cruise booked for May 2023 (Southbound from Anchorage/Whittier to Vancouver) and I would like to stay in Vancouver area for an extra week or so to visit my family but my husband does not plan to stay the extra week. Will Princess allow this? Passengers in the same cabin flying home on different dates using EZ Air? I couldn't find anything on the Princess site regarding this. Thanks for an info - I know I will have to end up calling Princess and also believe this may not be possible.
  10. Yes, some websites don't 'like' the ad blocker and I have to disable if I really want to use that website.
  11. For the Alaska cruise I booked yesterday on the Grand Princess (tried with the $1 deposit promotion but that didn't work as Full Suites are not included), with the ad blocker on I could only see Window Suite F301 (the smaller of the 7 window suites). So I went to a couple 'big box' sites and saw that all of the Window Suites were available except F315 (handicap cabin). So I did the Live Chat with Princess and after having to exert a little 'knowledge' they did 'find' the Window Suites and I was able to book the one I wanted.
  12. Just as a FYI - I use Safari web browser and I have an ad blocker extension in use that blocks most ads. When I have this extension turned on, I only see the Standard and Plus options - no Premiere package option on any cruise I look at. However, when I disable the ad blocker, I then do get all three package options (Standard, Plus, Premiere) AND with the ad blocker off, no Window Suites on any ship show (but they do with the ad blocker on). So bizarre!
  13. This is a screen shot I took of the $1 Deposit Full Terms yesterday before 'chatting' with Princess and the language you have highlighted is NOT there - after my discussion with Princess and possibly others, they updated the language:
  14. I learned today that the $1 deposit promotion does NOT include Full Suites even though there is no disclaimer of this on the Princess website. I tried to book a Window Suite on the Grand Princess and it showed the deposit of $1000 for two people. I then did a mock booking for a balcony and that did show the deposit as $2 for two people. So I did a Live Chat and was told that Full Suites are not included in the $1 deposits. I was told that the information sheet they have there specifically excludes Full Suites so I suggested the person on the chat to to the website under Cruise Deals and look for themselves. He came back and said I was correct but there was nothing he could do even after escalating to a supervisor. I told the rep this really felt like a 'bait & switch' scenario.
  15. We are also booked on the Ruby in August 2023 - August 2-9 (and have been on the Ruby on two other cruises over the years). One other thing about a mini-suite I don''t think has been mentioned is that in the bathroom there is a tub/shower combo and you have to climb into the tub to shower/bathe - not sure if you have any mobility issues but this may be a factor. Also, on the Ruby I believe all of the mini-suites on Deck 9 (Dolphin) are fully uncovered/fully exposed to sun/other cabins above. The Minisuites on the aft section of Deck 8 (Emerald) are fully covered and protected much better from the elements.

    Arrivcan

We are on the Aug 5-15 Quebec to New York cruise and under the Itinerary tab in my Cruise Personalizer for this cruise it does indicate the need to complete ArriveCan. I have the ArriveCan app on my phone and had to use it for a visit to my family in Canada this past December. Notifications COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT Please be advised that guests 5 years and older on this voyage are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet the following requirements: - have received their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before the beginning of the cruise and produce proof of vaccination at terminal check-in. Boosters are recommended for eligible guests at least seven days before embarkation. - produce acceptable proof of a negative viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) taken before or at embarkation (for guests 2 years and older). For required timing and details, please visit https://*****/pcl_ustest - complete ArriveCAN at https://*****/arrivecan within 72 hours of your cruise embarkation and enter proof of vaccination and travel information. Travel requirements are subject to change and vary by destination. Check our CruiseHealth FAQs (https://*****/pcl_usfaq), Princess communications and official government sites often for specifics for your voyage.
  17. When we were on the Sapphire Princess several years ago, the ship also had several 'main dining' rooms like this - all had different decor however all served the exact same meals/food.
  18. While I cannot comment on the Vista Suite on the Discovery Princess as we have not been on the ship or in a Vista Suite on this class of ship, I can provide you with our experience in being in a Penthouse Suite on the Royal Princess. We were in R612 on the Royal Princess - directly across from the Laundromat (and Concierge Lounge). There was absolutely no noise noted from the Laundromat - none! Also, this location was excellent for access to the Concierge Lounge for a cup of coffee/cappuciino, snacks, etc. as well as assistance for the Concierge (Passenger Services) staff when available. Loved this location!
  19. I found this here on CC, while not specifically for the Caribbean Princess, it may give you an idea of the layout of one of these mini-suites.
