Hopefully the Jays will sweep.We have friends living in Toronto who are huge Jays fans.

My wife’s sister suffered the loss of her husband and her 41 year old son. She joined a Bereavment group and currently runs the group.Therapy can be very helpful .

Today is the 12th.wedding anniversary for my younger daughter and her husband. We will celebrate tomorrow.

Would the cost for a car to pick you up and drive you home be less than parking at the port ?

I was never a Neil Diamond fan but my wife’s sister went to HS with him and “pushed” me into listening to his music . Not a Rod Stewart fan,nothing to do with his music.My younger daughter was living in the UK in the late 90’s.One night she was in a club and sat down at a bar .Rod Stewart was sitting there .She said hello to him and he said F…off.Mick Jagger was in the bar ,heard what was said and asked my daughter to join him at his table.He spoke to her for several hours then asked someone to take pictures of him and my daughter. She came back to the US with 16 pictures . He told her that Stewart may be having a bad day but he should not talk to a woman like that.

My granddaughters parents are into pop music from the 50’s.I prefer classic rock from 1965 to 1985 .However,I do have an appreciation of other genres of music.When my grandkids are in my house they can only listen to classic rock .Currently in addition to Harry Styles they know the lyrics of songs by the Beatles to the Who.

Joey was referred to as “the man with many voices”.His onetime girlfriend was the Bookkeeper of a company that I worked for.On Friday afternoon all the employees lined up to get their weekly pay checks .Joey was there and would sing to the female employees.

Prior to Covid we frequently booked cruises with a TA company who offered free insurance .

That was my preference as well

My granddaughter too. I had never heard of him when she started talking about him.Every time my granddaughters mentioned singers that they like I began listening to their songs so that I could have conversations with the kids.Their tastes in music have changed over the years.My 19 year old granddaughter used to love Katy Perry,The Black Eyed Peas and a singer frequently mentioned on this thread,Taylor Swift.

I saw Bob Dylan in April 1961 for the first time .Are you familiar with the song You Belong to Me ? That was recorder in 1962 by my then friend Joey Canzano who was the lead singer of The Duprees.

My soon to be 15 year old granddaughter is a huge Harry Styles fan.She saw him in concert in Long Island .

TSOTD is from St. Marten. We first went there in 1994.At that time I was healthy and had no beverage restrictions.We went to Orient Beach .

He was the President of a division of one of the largest Labor Unions in the US.

My daughters bought me one a few years ago as I have several hundred LP’s ,45’s and 78’s.

Our preference is the MDR.We have never eaten a meal in a buffet.

My Parkinson’s Zoom Singing group just ended.The woman who runs the group is a Broadway Actress and Singer. Today we sang songs by Fleetwood Mac,The Beatles,Joan Jet,Styx ,DonMacLean ,Bob Seeger and Journey. If anyone is a Fleetwood Mac fan the TV series Daisy Jones and the Six was recommended .It is based on Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham.

We too have been there in the winter and summer.The last time was on a cruise .It was really beautiful .We were in Montreal in 1969 and fell in love with that city and have been back many times as well.

We saw a production of the play in Canada in 1977.It was great .

TSOTD is from one of my favorite places to vacation in,Quebec City,Canada. We were there several times between 1976 and 2013.

Not really .Some people prefer being on cruises when there are less children .That was never a factor for me.

Thank you,Marietta.My granddaughter just FaceTimed me.She is working this week at her college .She and 9 other honors students are helping with an orientation for incoming students.I sang happy birthday to her,my own version of the song.😀
