This morning we gave our granddaughter a choice of three activities for the day.It is very sunny and hot. 1) Our condo development has 3 outdoor pools and state of the art tennis courts.She would be swimming and afterward playing tennis with Toby. 2) We have a summer pass to a beautiful private beach.There are nearly always outdoor concerts nearby. 3) Staying home and sitting on our deck playing board games with Toby and I. She opted for #3.

My friends know where I will be during the day and vice versa.I am close to 6’6 and stand out in a crowd.

We have never carried our luggage off and always are among the last to leave a ship.

What did people do before cell phones ? I have always been able to find friends on board.My phone goes into the safe and does not come out till the last day of the cruise.

I love it too.I worked in Greenwich Village many years ago and saw it on a menu one day and tried it .Every time I returned to that restaurant I ordered it.

Enjoy the weekend.We have one grandkid for the weekend but not the dog.We are trying to find activities for our granddaughter .

My granddaughters both played the flute in school and after that gave that up to join the chorus. I played the triangle .

I just finished the book and much to my surprise I found out that one of the passengers who was on a plane that landed in Gander was a woman who was a neighbor of mine when I lived in NYC.

There is a restaurant in the Hamptons where you can order Sticky Toffee Pudding and quite a few in Manhattan.

We were a table of 12 on our last cruise with absolutely no problem (Anthem)

Here it rained non stop from around 4 AM to about an hour ago.Now it is very sunny ,hot and humid.

Did you get the rain you wished for last night ?It stormed here and usually we have the same weather as you .

My cat Punky aka Pennina loved to listen to the same kind of music as me but I never took her to a concert.

MJ: This ice cream parlor is right next to a restaurant in a hotel about 2 blocks from the waterfront.I cannot recall the name.Thanks for your good wishes for her college experience.My younger daughter spent her junior year of college studying in the UK and my granddaughter,her niece hopes to have the opportunity to do the same thing.
