    My daughter and her husband cruise every year with his relatives.Their dog stays with us.He either sleeps in our bed or at the foot of my side of the bed.He is a very loving soon to be 9 year old dog. Thank you .

    Hs surgery was successful.He now has a 10-14 day recovery time with limited activity.Thank you.

    I had 4 careers.In my opinion a career is a job one has had for 5 or more years.My last job was the VP of an Advertising Promotions Company. While I did delegate I found myself performing the jobs of those who reported to me at times.

    My oldest granddog has a mass on his spleen and is having surgery tomorrow .We need prayers for him.

    The visible portions are redundant in my opinion because the Activities Manager often is no different from the CD.It is the same for any industry .People in power tend to delegate jobs that they do not wish to do.

    In my opinion there is a lot of redundancy on cruise ships. A CD as well as an Events Manager. I have been on cruises where the only time the CD was visible was when she or he introduced nightclub acts. b

    I cannot debate that because I have never been on a River cruise nor a small ship.Therefore,I defer to your opinion.

    Are you saying that a person who books a shore excursion does not ask what time they have to be outside when the excursion is booked ?That in my opinion should not be the job of a CD.

    If I cruised at a young age I likely would have appreciated a CD in lieu of my parents to direct my activities but I was an adult at the first time I cruised,1973 not 1971.My wife and I were on a cruise that did not offer shore excursions and we had a wonderful in port experience.On the ship the only activities were skeet shooting ,shuffleboard and a pool .

    Not necessarily depressing.When I was growing up it was possible to walk anywhere in NY ,day or night without fear of being mugged.Streets were clean.Very little if any pollution.I got along fine without automation.

    My preferred music has never been heard by me on a cruise: Songs by the Fugs,David Peel and Artie Traum. Aside from that in my opinion music from 1965 to 1983 is the best of all time.

    I could not say what occurred on other lines at the time.I went on a cruise in 1973 to celebrate a special year birthday.My next cruise was in 1994 also to celebrate a birthday.By the time I began cruising on a regular basis it was 2008 and things were totally different.
