Prior to becoming addicted to cruising we usually did one five week land vacation every year.

My father was born on December 12,1895.I have been thinking today about all the things he experienced in life such as seeing the first automobiles,airplanes,in home radios and televisions ,the first pandemic ,the First World War ,in home typewriters ,electric fans and likely many other things .He was born in Poland ,had a 4th.grade education ,arrived in the US in 1913.He retired in 1961 as President of a division of one of the largest American Labor Unions

That is very good.

I eat Muenster cheese at home at times directly from being in the shopping bag and have never had a problem of any kind .

We do not have turkeys but we do have too many geese.

Knowing me as I do I would overeat if I ate in a buffet.I have never gained weight on a cruise.

We cruised from 1973 to 2019 a majority on RCI ships.We never ate a meal in the Windjammer or any other Buffet .Our preference was always the MDR because we liked the idea of being served and not cafeteria style .

It is sunny here ,42 degrees and still windy.Amazing that there are no tree branches on our community grass .

When do you go to Fla ? Our snowbird friends left last week.

Rain is expected to stop here at 9:30 tomorrow morning but there are still heavy winds expected.

56 here.There is a possibility of losing power here but it would be a lot worse if we had typical December weather.

I just read on line that Denny Laine of the Moody Blues passed away this past Tuesday at age 79. R.I.P.

My area supposedly will have winds of 45-50 mph between 10PM and 2 AM.Currently the wind is 19 mph.

Many films are set like that.They want the viewers to think about what the screen writer had in mind.Others do that because they plan sequels.

That is good to know although I do not see myself ever being in the store again.

I have a journal for the period of my birth to age 40.However,there is nothing in it about my New Years Eve’s experiences.I have vivid memories of things as far back as age 2.

I worked in Manhattan 40 years.In those years it was always a great place to be ,day or night.

I saw the movie.It was very good.

You have to go on a Kosher cruise to get the real thing.However,if the CD is Jewish she or he will make sure that you get as close to the real thing as possible.
