  1. I have a rather large sports memorabillia collection .I also have a large music collection.In 1927 my father went to a jazz concert and saved the program which I have.
  2. I watch it primarily because my 19;year old granddaughter has been watching it and we would normally discuss it afterward but after watching the first episode this season she has the same opinion as you.
  3. Much to my surprise unless I did not see it nobody has posted about Big Brother.I do not like the new format of separate competitions.In my opinion everyone should be competing in the same one. Amazing Race and Survivor both begin September 27.
  4. Do you collect Yankees Memorabillia ? When I reconnected in 1994 with my friend who played for the team he have me 20 pictures of himself .Some he signed To Lenny and the rest just his signature.I was always a Mickey Mantle fan and he referred me to a Sports Collectibles store where I bought an autographed picture of Mantle.
  5. I have never been to Europe and aside from one cruise to South America have never eaten anything outside of North America.
  6. I have never been on a golf course .I never eat hot dogs anywhere but peoples houses.
  7. We have friends who do movie themed cruises. I believe that a cruise line might wish to book an author who would do book signings ,give free copies of her or his books and said author would be available to discuss their writings.

Yes,however,my thinking was to travel to as much of the US ,Canada and Caribbean as possible .If I could go back in time I would have gone to Europe and possibly Asia .Instead I see the places I missed through my children who are world travelers and reading about the experiences of those on CC .
  9. One of my son in laws is very good friends with Debbie Gibson who was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Long Island .A bit of Debbie trivia: When she was a kid she had the same piano teacher as Billy Joel.
  10. We have cruised to Bermuda 12 times,4 times on HAL out of NY,once on Cunard also out of NY,the rest of the time on Celebrity out of NJ.
  11. We went to Alaska in May 2008.It was a retirement trip for my wife. We did the trip with HAL.We flew to Fairbanks and did a 7 day tour by bus and train.Followed by a 7 day cruise.HAL provided a Tour Guide to travel with us the fist 7 days.She planned wonderful activities enabling us to see things that we would not be able to on just a cruise.

  14. Those were the days that nobody on the cruise wore a tee shirt daytime.Men wore button down shirts .
  15. I am sitting in bet gazing at the beautiful blue sky listening to 83 year old Ringo Starr singing .He sounds the same as he did 50 years ago.
  16. When we lived in Brooklyn we took that route from the Belt Parkway many times to go to Sunken Meadow State Park.Since moving to LI we have never gone there.
  17. Have you been to Jones Beach this summer ?When I lived in Brooklyn I went very often but since moving to within walking distance I have yet to go there.
  18. TSOTD is the USHA (United States Handball Association) In 1966 I entered the Men’s Singles Competition and finished in 7th.place
  19. My older daughter and her husband plus their best friends are now vacationing in my favorite country to vacation in.

That is exactly what my friends wife said to me when she suggested that I do this I have had two very tragic experiences which have affected my outlook on life .When Toby and I were dating and things were getting really serious I told her about both of these things.My daughters know but not my granddaughters.I wrote a book of short stories and poetry that was published and I put aside copies for each granddaughter that my plan is to give them next summer when they will be 20 and 16.
