  1. I was on for an hour with nothing but a load of "yes"! I called and 2p minutes from start to finish so I can have medallion mailed to me. Why does the app not allow for that simple mail to me feature. Live Chat wasted my time!
  2. No need to be in a hurry and just expect to wait. Was no big deal to us. Easy Peasy!
  3. I called princess and in 20 minutes time had what I needed resolved. DO NOT BOTHER WITH LIVE CHAT!
  4. Do they ever really answer or do you sit there answering "yes" into infinity?!?! I tried to be stubborn but I got things to do! Is live chat for real?
  5. We made a point to leave our house at 7am and parked at 9am. We took our time and with that timing the previous passengers were vacating their parking spaces which had us right up front. Yes we waited, made sure all was in order. Everything in car taken out and nothing valuable in plain view. We walked across the driveway to the tent showed our medallion info and waited .Snaked to security medallion scans and waited in terminal for about an hour and on the ship by noon. Ship didn't depart until 4:00pm. The best part about leaving early was taking our time because we've never been to the cruiseport before and parking was amazing because of empty spots from the previous departing passengers.
  6. We live in the inland empire and drove into san pedro and just parked and kept the car there right across the driveway from the ship. They had tents set up for us to wait in line as we snaked our way in. It cost us approximately $120 for our car to stay there 7 days. When we got off the ship we walked a few yards and there was our car. It was a pleasant and easy no fuss experience. The lot is gated so there was no worries. We were onboard the princess discovery! I would do it again that way! From san diego it would be the best way to do it!
  7. I accidentally tried it on a cruiseship thinking it was jam. All I asked myself after I got my tasebuds together was.........WHY?!
  8. I can wear a simple outfit during the day and elevate to formal wear with a sparkly silver scarf for formal night....maybe even dangly earrings! That's as far as I'll go for formal night! 😆
  9. I agree! On Discovery this past november........Crown grill an utter disappointment but Sabatini's was perfection!
  10. I could only go to dining room for lunch twice tops! Buffet maybe twice! Get off the ship and have a nice lunch when we dock! That is much more fun! There is also the grill and the noodle bar! Get away from that boring dining room lunch! It's your fault if you can't be a little more creative!
  11. We bring one too and hang it on bathroom door with magnetic hooks. I hate clutter on bathroom counter, nightstands and the such! It folds flat and takes no room.
  12. No one is forced to look for ducks just look straight ahead and look in no corners, no potted plants, no stairwells, no shelves, no empty chairs or couches........AAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I think their following us!
  13. I think what would compel me to actually look for ducks and pick them up is if there was money tucked up in them! BINGO!
  14. I go on vacation to avoid hot societal topics. I want to escape the bull puckey! No religion, no money, no job talk, no politics. Even the weather is not safe. How about......uh......hmmm.....you go first......😵‍💫
  15. Thank you!!! Noro running rampant amongst cruielines according to the media outlets! Just got me thinking!
  16. Good to have seen so many using the wash stations but also someone who wears a glove when serving themselves up at the buffet. I do the same. The 2 things I see as an orgy of bacteria is stair banisters and menus. 🤢. I typically carry paper towels for grabbing nasty banisters and a tissue for handling menus. Does anyone wipe down their cabin hand managed items once they've checked in with clorox wipes? Have you wrapped the remote control in a plastic bag(now this item wreaks in nastiness). Just some things to think about! 🤔
  17. Understood there's never a 100% chance of contracting nothing BUT what do you do in being proactive to at least aide in your own protection while onboard? This could be an idea board just to get us all thinking about what is in our control! Staying home is not an option 🤭😉
