Chicken Pot Pie last night. Today, created a homemade stock from a beef soup bone and various herbs (rosemary, oregano, and thyme) that simmered all day. Added diced vegetables (potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, sweet corn and peas) an hour before eating tonight for a hearty soup. And it was a pretty pathetic storm at that.

I think you’ll find it can be somewhat similar to a WC if only in the fact that Grand Voyage folks can be a bit cliquish, sticking to themselves and not welcoming others to join in their groups. It wasn’t any big deal to us taking a single voyage, just different, as we had never experienced such a vibe on board SS before.

We enjoyed it. Loved the restaurant / bar and view from the rooftop, regular private transfers to/from Piazza San Marco, and the quietness of Giudecca Island.

Yes. On about a quarter to one-third of our voyages, I’d say. I can remember one being an overnight. Another was a very late departure. Two due to weather and one due to a disputed fuel bill of all things.
