Well, at least he didn’t tie up a table in the smaller venues like La Dame, Kaiseki, Silver Note, etc. With that said, I too couldn’t imagine doing such a thing.

Not true, Les. Maybe for your voyages, but not for all voyages. In fact, for years before the current online system, they were never listed until one was on board. Of course. My comment on your post was specific to the topic you were referring too; dining.

I visit with them every voyage. But, the last time to make a reservation was before the current request system was out in place, pre-Muse. I assume that is what your question was referencing.

There is no excuse in my mind why the information needs to be there at all. It never used to be a problem because we all just embarked, read the welcome letter in our suite, visited with the maître d' to make a reservation or two, and went about enjoying our vacation.

Yes. Very typical. We received one yesterday for our next voyage in March, 2024, over one year from now.

Beef tongue? 😉 By far, the best langoustines I ever had in my life were in Singapore at Les Amis. To think they could be so incredibly fresh and delicate after traveling all the way from Brittany blew me away. 😋

I believe Mysty is correct, especially since GV’s are already discounted as you’re not booking just a single voyage, or two.

FYI… considering party lines existed well into the 90s, I don’t think that qualifies you for being old. I know a Generation Z youngster whose parents had a party line when she was born. -
