That looks like our Radiance 8 nt Vancouver to San Diego (9/29-10/7) followed by the Panama Canal transit to Tampa. Our stop at San Francisco was cancelled.
Sailed 3x this past yezr. No complaints. I can't imagine there's much difference between the 2. Have sailed all the Radiance class ships and love them all.
There is a recent thread on Chef's Table you might want to look at. We've done it a few times and love it. As far as I know isn't part of a dining package. Set menu but will accommodate food allergies but best to advise them well in advance. Wine pairings are part of the experience but again if given advance notice they will likely accommodate. Understand this is not a short dinner. Can run 2-4 hours. At most 16 people.
Don't need to buy oyster card. We used our tap and pin credit cards in October. Just use the same one for all your trips to get any discounts. We used Meadway car service from Heathrow to London. Haven’t used coach from Southampton so can't help there. Btw when taking tube remember you are dragging luggage into a train station, up and down stairs, onto a train that is only stopping and leaving for commuters. When walking remember it could be raining. Take a taxi.
We really enjoy Chef's Table. Did it New Year's eve 21-22 on the Jewel. Understand there are no choices, it's a fixed menu. Saying that, at least a day in advance we inform them of food alergies/restrictions and they are very accommodating. The evening can last 2-3 hours, or more. Limited to 16 people. New wine with each course. Chef explains each course.
Thanks. Was thinking of taking our California granddaughter, without her parents, on a short cruise. She ice skates so thought she'd like the ice show. In 2024 she'll be 11. It won't be her first cruise. She's been cruising since she was 2!
