No theme for lunch. Certain items are always available, i.e., hot dogs, pizza, burgers, but other items change every day. They are usually carving a meat, but a different one each day. Different hot dishes, sides, salads., etc. each day. Lots to choose from.

New ship is scheduled to arrive Saturday at 4 and depart at 8 pm. Seems tight to me. They're scheduled to arrive back Monday, 2 days late.

Of course we don't know the extent of internal damage or what caused the fire. Only time will tell what needs repair and/or replacement. Anyway the good news is that no passengers were injured. I hope no crew were affected.

The ship is in Grand Turks and they had a fire in their tunnel this morning. No injuries and passengers were allowed to go ashore. The photos look bad. She will not be sailing back to Port Canaveral today. She was due back on Saturday. Passenger will remain onboard until another ship comes to pick them up on Saturday afternoon. The next cruise is cancelled. By the looks of it I assume other cruises will be cancelled

Sailed the Jewel TA in April. Love this class of ships. The Diamond lounge, deck 13 is open all day and dh stops by for coffee. Concierge there in the morning and evening. Snacks morning and evening. Saw books on deck 6 opposite the pool tables, which are great. They have a gyro leveling mechanism to keep them level. It just doesn't help my game! We like the outside of Windjammer. Also like Solarium area. You will also get other diamond benefits and they will leave a list in your cabin, though I'm sure someone here can post them. I'm D+ so my list won't help.

You don't actually have to use it on the 1st or 2nd night, you just have to reserve and pay the 1st or 2nd night. As we said we used it on Jewel but later in the cruise, a 14 nt TA. Just picked our reservation for Giovanni's and paid the 1st day.

I would check with your credit card company as to why it was declined. It maybe that their fraud detection system but if you call them they can override it. I had it when I was booking a tour in Amsterdam from the US. Able to clear it up.

Got off Jewel TA 5/13 and for a fee in the Amsterdam cruise terminal they scheduled appointments for tests for those flying out that day. Not sure they planned to do it but there was a demand for testing. We didn't need it as were staying in Amsterdam.

Had to be booked by a certain date and sail before the end of the year. Also you receive the new status on the next cruise. Points aren't applied until after you complete your cruise.

As indicated, any specialty host station will help. No, Chef's table isn't there but the person on the host station will connect you with the right person.
