We decided to book it. We have nothing to lose because we have until finally payment to cancel without penalty. If something better comes along we may cancel and switch. We are flying in 2 days prior and out 2 days after.

We all love the NCL itinerary! I'm a teacher so my travel dates are limited. I haven't checked Royal yet, I will do so. I thought I saw that somewhere. I've only sailed with each these cruiselines once and enjoyed both of them. Celebrity has been our favorite so far, but this cruise is at a different port every day so it's much more about itinerary and price this time. I will be sailing with Celebrity in 3 weeks. 🙂

Is the NCL Black Friday 2nd guest free legit or did they raise the prices just to make it look like a sale?

I have never been there so no idea what itinerary's would be ideal. My friends are well traveled so they would know much more about it, however I'm a much more experienced cruiser. I do want to fly in early to explore, so that's an excellent point! Celebrity will open their itinerary's on December 5th, correct?

My friends are more familiar with those ports than I, so I will let them chose the itinerary. None of us are that particular with food, we would enjoy sight seeing. That's entirely possible, since I hadn't priced it before. I was just browsing for Black Friday sales and it looked like a good deal with the second person free on the cruise and flight. That's awesome! I think I would ask for more than 1 day. I'd like to stay there at least a couple days prior to the cruise to explore. I believe I read somewhere that Celebrity's will open on December 5th. I will be on Celebrity in 3 weeks, may book onboard.

We have a 5 night cruise booked for December. I believe with cruises this short all I need is to be vaccinated, no need for covid testing. Correct? But what is considered vaccinated? It's been a long time since I've received a booster shot.

That number was correct. Thank you! Thank you! I called and got the discount. Our TA referred me back to the Celebrity website. However, I was able to call the number above and very quickly and got the discount. It was pretty cheap too, $13.50/day, so it will be worth it.

Does anyone know which night is chic night on this cruise? I hope it’s our sea night, between Key West and Cozumel.

Decoy is drinkable with food. There isn’t anything in the classic package I would like. I can’t imagine they would water it down, it must have just been a bad wine. I am not picky with water. We buy Kirklands all the time. I agree. This is just a little 5 nights girls trip. I don’t know how much the price difference would be, but I would want it right away.

We booked through a TA with an All Included package as well. I didn’t realize it would be so complicated to do this.

I would be upgrading for wine and the martini bar. It would be quite disappointing if I did this and they didn’t have a red I like. If Decoy isn’t available they should give us something better, imo.

Interesting. We’re going with a group of friends so we’d like to get cabins near one another in a good location. It makes us want to jump on asap.

I’m not Elite. This will only be my second Celebrity cruise.

Nice jeans (no holes) and a polo are fine. The chic night attire you mentioned would be appropriate. Most aren't dressing up as much as they use to.

Piggy backing off this question. I have a cruise scheduled for December. We are planning on booking a cruise for summer 2024 but it hasn't opened yet. If I book when it opens, which should be within the next month, can I apply it that toward it. I'm assuming no, but not sure. In other words, would I have to wait to book it onboard to get the OBC?

We got the All Included when we booked. I'm considering upgrading to the premium drink package for better wines, but don't see an option to just upgrade. Would that cover drinks from the martini bar? How would I go about that? I believe it's cheaper if I do it pre-cruise, but I could be mistaken.

If I had an aft balcony I’d sail away from there too!
