  1. We are booked for March 2025 and many excursions are sold out and others have a waitlist. I'm thinking one of the best ones we may well book the Japanese speaking tour.
  2. OBC isn't available for use on Princess Diamond in Japan.
  3. Yes, tht is happening on our cruise, but because one is in Japanese. But that isn't what I'm asking about. It's sold out versus waitlisted.
  4. Yes. And that worked. Until the next time I tried to log I also did the change password - to the same password. Last night I had to reset again. And never received the reset email link. 😂
  5. I can't log into the app. I can on the website. Same credentials. App says it's incorrect. Website logs me in.
  6. So it still begs the question. Why are there two categories (in our planner) of a sold out excursion, and one that has a wait list?
  7. Our cruise had many segments and one person took the initiative and gathered a really large crowd for all segments . Also used the other site to spread the word. Viking put on a great show.
  8. Thankyou. We've had several cruises on Celebrity then switched to Viking for a couple. Next one is back to Celebrity in July and was hearing of all the poor reports and was wondering if we'd made a mistake in returning.
  9. Uggh. That would be so annoying. I also had a Citibank card and our main bank is NAB. And now I have another NAB account t I simply didn't want nor need.
  10. We had this comms issue on our flooded out Rhine River cruise. I really hope that you get some information very soon. 🤞
  11. We had a M@M on Mars last May but it was organised on CC. Many of the officers showed up, and a lot of passengers, I'd say around 50.
  12. It's been our experience of Viking that they do not divulge information until they are literally forced to do so. Possibly they regard it as taking care of all the decisions but they must start to appreciate that modern educated people require information in order to plan what they wish to do and not what Viking might think they want to do. They must know by now.
  13. Your question was answered but you kept posting 'what cabin'. Most don't bother posting on the spreadsheet so. 🤷‍♀️ All of these are in an excellent location as they are under the service areas of the spa location and away from the pool and aft of the gymnasium.
  14. Princess just announced their world cruise on Coral is rerouting via Africa with the usual stops. Their cruise transits in May I think? They are skipping many of the Australian, Asian, Nth African and Med ports. Viking must know by now as their WC come through this area earlier.
  15. We only book Aqua now. Love Blu and they prepared a special Indian banquet for us when we said we liked Indian food. This was on S class. Just need to select a cabin not under the pool. The spa was good. Just need to do the research and plan. Suits me of others don't like it. On our cruise it's the only Sold Out category. Must be a lot of silly people on our cruise 😏 Don't see the problem.
  16. Our cabin is located under the acupuncture area. Can't see any issues at all.
  17. It seems I did something extra at the time so this shouldn’t occur with a simple cabin change so all good.
  18. I sure did call. And they refused to reapply as I had changed the booking and the conditions at the time of the change were used. Which had no OBC but did have tips etc included. Sadly I didn't really need to change the cabin but was just fiddling around. As soon as AI changed then I've not touched it.
  19. I changed my room - only the room not the category, and lost OBC as a result but as it was still before the change date I kept the tips etc as they were still being offered at the time. But the OBC had been dropped. There was no mention I would lose the OBC from the original booking when I simply changed to cabin just a couple of doors away.
  20. It changed a few months ago and tips aren’t included either.
  21. It's just an assumption. Thats all. 🤷‍♀️
  22. We sailed through the GBR on QM2 which is a massive ship and I really enjoyed it. We came close to shore where possible and could watch local people fishing from their canoes, a few on speedboats kept pace with us, all the various inlets and islands, and the water was this fabulous colour of blue. It was warm and languid. It certainly wasn't the ocean 'sea day' experience.
  23. It will certainly change whether people decide to cancel as this is a completely different cruise and likely one people have already completed. We were very lucky to have cruised through the Red Sea and Suez Canal transit, Israel, Egypt and Jordan just over six months ago. Hard to believe it's changed so much. There's no comparison.
  24. Thankyou for the nice welcome. Thats interesting using that point as a reference. Down under we use the Equator as our reference so hence Southern. Great Southern Land and all that. We will be on Noordam and even though she's cruising Australia she won't be near where I live until December. Might sneak a visit then.
