In Florida, we've had 9 major theme parks running, packed by the way for months, and there is no zombie apocalypse.  In fact, Florida is doing better than most states at this point.

And don't try the 35% thing, I go pretty much every day and the parks are are allowing 35% of maximum capacity but operating at maybe 50% capacity.  The midways, restaurants etc are just as crowded at any pre-nonsense day.

    Oh my.....!!!

As of March 22, (over the last seven days), Florida has had the most Covid-19 cases IN THE COUNTRY, according to data from the (CDC), the 12th highest per capita case-rate, the fourth highest number of deaths, and the 17th highest death rate.

I have decided to give up on rebooking till cruises actually start sailing.  I’m sick and tired of the obc bait to rebook. We have had 7 cruises canceled. $4500 is tied up right now. We will book a cruise after carnival actually starts to sail without restrictions, if that ever happens

    Wise decision!

At the very least, I'd wait & (use) 2022 to locate a sailing for 2023...

But seriously, is cruising over with?

Of course cruising is not over with. However when it does resume passengers should prepare themselves for certain announcements from their captain to become inevitably common. Such as; "All passengers are instructed to go to their staterooms as the crew & local authorities figure out the best strategy to contain the virus on-board this vessel. We will keep you advised what day this week you'll be permitted to disembark"...

I've said this often enough in this forum:  My favorite CD is the one with a week long case of laryngitis.

Carnival seems to have the loudest CDs who have constant announcements and make the most long winded blah blah blah about events "you won't want to miss" or excursions "you want to be on, hurry, because they will sell out", or sales/shows that "are our most popular that everyone will be at, so get there early".

When I started sailing other lines, I realized it was possible to have a snooze on a deck lounger without being awakened by the CD (again!).

    Sheesh......⬆️

Matt Mitcham retiring from Carnival (THE TOPIC) will be missed by so many.

  7. When in doubt, don't. Its probably wise to move cabins. The Liquid Lounge Night Club (when being used) is open from 11pm to 2am. Sometimes can/may be open until 2:30 to 3am depending on the event/the crowd/the DJ.
