I have two:
1. VERY large groups. I will cancel if I find out there is too large a group on board. When 1/4 or more of the ship is reserved for any group, I'm canceling.
2. Liberal smoking. I love my clean air! :)

AQ or CC, but voted balcony as that was the closest choice.

I cruise Celebrity so am a bit biased, but want to try Princess soon. S-class is Celebrity's newer and larger ships while M-class are their slightly older and smaller ships. I love and have sailed both. To get a good idea of the layouts of the different ships for many cruise lines I recommend you Google cruise deck plans. You'll get a wealth of information from different sites. I don't know if you smoke, but Celebrity is very restrictive, with smoking allowed on a few open deck areas only. No smoking indoors or on verandas.
We are late-50's and fell in love with cruising in 2012. Trust me, it's addictive!

Bistro/Sushi on 5 is the only one. Mast Grill and Oceanview are open.
-
We were invited while we were still Select staying in a CC cabin. It was the second leg of a B2B, so that may have been the reason. Regardless, we have a great time!
-
I love sushi and cannot wait for the change from Bistro to Sushi on 5. I feel that what was offered in the Oceanview was too bland. We'll definitely give them a try next cruise!
-
I guess I've been lucky, but I've never had a problem finding a seat in the Oceanview. Yes, seats may be tough at certain times at the Aqua Spa Cafe, but I don't eat there much so that isn't an issue.
I'm too busy having a great time to notice, I guess.

Very nice video. Thanks for sharing!

We've bought several, but don't think we'll buy another one. For our first cruise to Hawaii the DVD was filled with events that took place on our cruise, both on ship and off, along with stock footage of the ship and other information. Good DVD and fun to watch.
On our Alaska cruise last summer the DVD had very little footage from our actual cruise. Several of the shore excursion pieces showed beautiful sun when the actual weather was overcast and rainy. Videos of shipboard events we attended were nothing like what actually took place. Et cetera.
It seems to be hit or miss depending on the sailing, weather, and the photo studio staff. Because of this, we're probably done with buying the DVD for future cruises.

Can you imagine the amount of bones they'd have to deal with? I suspect that may be part of why you don't see them much. Just a thought.

Fishy. Loved the paninis, but most everything on the current menu tastes the same. This is the only fee restaurant we won't be re-visiting until the next version!
-
Correct. Especially on not delaying purchase once on board. They sell a limited number and they usually sell out quickly.

Sorry, but not for me. I'd much rather fly to Florida or San Juan than travel north. Don't get me wrong. I fully understand your position, living so close to the port! :)

My office went "scent free" at the same time they went smoke free. Maybe the time has come for ships and restaurants to do likewise.
My office did the same thing. A true "breath of fresh air!"

Their binoculars are...not good. Please bring your own. Alaska deserves good binoculars!

Those cakes are obscene!!!!!!! :):)What deck is Café al Bacio on please!! I'm on the Eclipse on 14th August, first ever cruise.
Deck 5.

Just mourning my lack of Cafe al Bacio this morning. This is my second morning post cruise 😕 Love Love the ice tea presentation. Going to order one set from Tea Forte.
Joanne
Thanks to CaB and falling in love with their tea I ordered this set several years ago. It gets used quite a bit and it is nice to get a reminder of CaB at home! My favorite is the white ginger pear. Love it!

The oatmeal raisin cookies are tasty. The only problem is that they go FAST!

Another "ditto"!!

We loved Solstice to Alaska last summer and can't wait for more of your review!

I can't wait for So5! I looked at the menu and pics and found many items I'd like to try! My wife "doesn't like sushi" (translation: refuses to try it), and she found many things on the menu she'd like to try.
We've tried the crepes and found them lacking. When they changed and added the daily menu we found those items to be hit or miss.
From most replies to this thread it seems that many don't like the change and I understand, but for us, we look forward to the change!

No special lunch for Aqua. This is a new perk for CC I suspect in an attempt to make this class a bit more attractive. Face it, Aqua already offers so much more than CC and is frequently close to the same price.
-
I think the $10 per day (plus tip) is a great deal, so getting it for half price is fantastic! Glad to see it was offered!

No longer offered by Celebrity.
Why do people like St Kitts & Antigua?

I'm a fan of St. Kitts. We love the sugar train and sailing around the island.
