  1. Just so you know, Pandora beads are mainly sold by one or two local jewelry stores on the island, not a true Pandora outlet. I know St. Kitts and Falmouth, Jamaica both have stores that include Pandora in their inventory. They engrave the port location on the bottom of a ship for an island-specific bead. It is a poor engrave and wears off quickly. St. Kitts also sells quite a few monkey charms as they're rather famous (infamous) for their monkeys.

Sorry, but I don't know about the ports you'll be visiting. Good luck!

  2. This is our experience as well. Most of the children I've seen were simply passing through. The few that were there to use the pool were politely reminded of the rules. This is a wonderful area, though I must admit I wish the S class had T-pools like the M class.

  3. I was on Reflection last month......my Muster station was in the photo gallery........crammed hundreds of people in there

where there was not enough space *All standing up........except for the very few chairs they had set up for those who

    literally could not stand.

Worst location on the ship. My wife and I found a gap between glass panels where cool air was flowing. Without that air we might have passed out. It got HOT in that room and we were packed in. We've learned that if this is your muster area to show up right on time. That way the place is already packed and you're on the fringes were a bit of air flows.

Other muster stations where there is seating are much better.

  4. There was a Martini Bar bartender on Eclipse who knew I liked the chocolate martinis and the black forest martinis. He made me a creme br?l?e martini. Off menu of course. Mmmm. They also made it for me in Michael's Club.

The whiskey peaches signature drink in Luminae is awesome too.

Luminae has signature drinks?!? Nice! Are they listed in the menu?

    Thanks!

  5. I love the total disconnect you can have (if you want). I shut down my cell/laptop and place them in the safe for the duration of the cruise. At work I'm on 24/7 call, so for the cruise I shift to 24/7 attention to my wife and I having fun and relaxing. I've discovered that my work-world does indeed continue without me!

  6. My wife is late to everything while I (after 28 years at FedEx) hate to be late. So, she sends me to the theater and tells me to save seats which I adamantly do not like to do. Usually, our daughter and granddaughter travel with us; so that means saving three seats. Then they stroll in 10 minutes after the show starts. It drive me nuts but, to preserve domestic tranquility, I do it and have not been beaten up yet!

Apologies, and I understand trying to keep the peace with family, but this is rude x2. First you are saving more than one seat and second they stroll in after the show has begun, thus disrupting those around you who are trying to enjoy the show.

  7. Consider a cruise to Alaska.... Alaskan mosquitos are Zika and Dengue free.

But they can be big suckers (pun intended)! Biggest and most aggressive mosquitoes I've ever seen!

I also recommend the wipes. Very convenient and work well for me.

  8. GH nailed it.

We had one steward tell us that they didn't do that anymore. He also told us they couldn't empty the refrigerator. We called guest services and both were taken care of when we returned from muster.

We love the foam isotonic pillows. Tried them on our first cruise and loved them so much we now use them at home. :)
