Pretty quick today there 10 mins early all done and dusted and back home within the hour. Hardest part was getting in the carpark at the hospital ,lucky for us someone was just vacating a spot on our arrival. The ones I feel sorry for is the staff who have to pay to park and go to work there.

Morning 4.c this morning and overcast here. Yesterday was fun and games as we had a internet outage for a hour or so and when we got it back for some reason the Hive heating system had a strop and did not want to know. Tried to get it to talk/link to my phone ,did not want to know , most it would do is link to the thermostat .Even our heating engineer was at a loss to what was going on . He ended up chatting with Hive themselves who between them got it running . Never had this happen it just normally resets itself, first time for everything . Today off to the Hozzie as its that wonderful time of the year when they like to light up my eyeballs and photo them ,so that's me having the eyes of a barn owl for a few hours . I like this story about church ,goes like this ... A man comes home looking worse for wear with two black eyes. "Where have you been" snarls the wife ,"down the pub again ." Not all the time I went to church as well and before you say owt that's where I got my two black eyes ! His wife, "How did you manage to get two black eyes at church!?" "Well" the man answers, "When we stood up to pray, i noticed that the woman in front of me had the back of her dress tucked in to her knickers . I didn't want to embarrass her by telling her, so i reached forward and pulled it out. She turned around and punched me in the eye!" "That explains one black eye" said his wife, " so how did you get the other one?" " Well I thought she must have wanted it there so i put it back!" 🤣🙃

Morning 4.c and dull here . On the subject of churches ,it's sad to see some of them go but if only nine folk are using it ? The part I don't like is when you see one converted into a pub ,don't seem right to me . When up Sunderland we used to stay in a guest house and opposite a church came up for sale, we feared the worst for it . Glad to say someone bought it refurbed it and is now a family home . Rather see that than it fall into disrepair . @Adawn47 Message from Mrs K .." Takes me back to when I was growing up like when I was about 9 , I asked him "Dad am I adopted " he looked me in the eye and smiled and said "No we haven't found anyone who wants you yet " I was just like my Dad and wanted to be a millionaire, he never was either. He always helped me with my homework .. Dad can you explain to me what a solar eclipse is.. No son he said or was it sun 🤔 He was brill with owt like that ,I remember asking him once "Dad, how do stars die? Drugs,overdose usually.was his reply,he knew about these things🙃 Music, technology he knew about things my Dad advised me ..... “Don’t spend too much money on expensive headphones.” Now I have always thought that to be sound advice.😀 No getting away from it Dads are brill and spelt backwards are still DAD !! Remember the good times and forget the bad ☺️ Today is one of those days where it's nice to check future holidays ,hotels etc planning is almost as good as going on them 😉 This needs careful planning so to help I think a chippy meal is on the cards today😋 That reminds me .. Did you hear about the man who walked into a bakers shop with a 25lb haddock under his arm and asked the baker... " Do you sell fish cakes " Baker said ... Nope it's a happy day as you still have good memories of your Dad . The sad day would be if those memories faded . Take care mate 🙂

Hope you have a good time Sue .We found the hotel and breakfast and the transfers to the port very good . The other meal services were on the pricy side so we used a pub recommend by one of the staff . Called The West End Brewery .Very easy to get to and you have other shops very close by such as ASDA store for your last minute things or snacks for your hotel stay . Will put direction's should you need them ... HERE 🙂

Glad all is well to know and mum and baby are doing fine .😀 We stayed at the Holiday Inn last cruise and had no problems apart from they were having the lifts refurbed so one was out of service of the two . That was late October so should be sorted by now . When staying here before check in we refueled the car and had a great chippy meal at Mikes fish @chips just top side of the garage . Should you want to do either here's directions ... Garage

Same here, last cruise we had the option of a saver fare or for £180 each we could chose our cabin and they would give us £550 OBC. So they pay us £190 to choose our cabin . No gripes from me 🙂

It's a good feeling and I have recently ticked a world cruise and a marathon off my bucket list . Not a cat in hells chance of me doing them being the reason 🙃 Anyway ,welcome home and happy hunting for you future cruise bookings.😀
