Sometimes could be down to what you drink or eat that throws your system out . We have been viewing a series of a couple's travels around India/Pakistan and they both learnt the hard way with the street foods ice/salad and dips, that the locals were quite happy devouring . As kids growing up, going to the east coast on a caravan holiday,one of my younger sisters only had to have a drink of their tap water or make a cuppa with it and she was running for the loo and ill for a good day. We used to take bottles of our own tap water and eventually weaned her onto the local stuff. Not saying a full ship comes down with this but wonder how many do and think they had other infections ?🤔

Morning all 5.c and cloudy here ,hope you are all ok today ? 🙂 I personally do not like today ,why ? Cos tomorrow the 14th. Never do I seem to get it right . Last year I bought my wife a new belt and bag for Valentines day.The vacuum cleaner works just fine now. I could tell my Mrs was far from pleased ,she told me two of her mates got a big bunch of flowers and said they were gorgeous ..... I said that's possibly why they got them then. I have been advised by my mate that I should get my Mrs some roses for tomorrow .Thing is I forgot to ask him how many ? Maybe some of you can help ? Should I give her one ,three six or a dozen ? Or do you think .... I should just give her the full tub ?? So much to remember and it's pancake day today ! Happy pancake day folks 😄

When going on the Azura I entered my card via the online check in but I could have waited until the boarding process . Here's what p&o say ... Due to the really bad weather over the past few weeks causing postponed events Some of my friends are having a joint Burns Night and Chinese New Year Party this weekend .... They're calling it Chinese Burns Night. I wasn't going to go but they twisted my arm. 🙃 I'm not a fan of these events either ..... They seem to Drag-on 😉 Sooner someone invents canine noise cancelling head phones the better for Teddy 🙂

Not forgetting the nights we used to end up in the Indian for a Ruby Murry and I can tell you that gave any Noro a run for it's money the next morning .😱 🙃

Its weird how some folk avoid washing their hands and work to the mantra ... "It's not me" ,blame everyone else . A week ago when on the Azura we used to go down for breakfast to the MDR Peninsular 5 -10minutes before opening . One morning.one guy sneezed into his hands and just laughed about it ,despite him stood 3 ft away from a washroom . Another guy stood coughing into his hands between lecturing us on the perils of the buffet . As for the buffet ,we saw some folk who on spotting the gel guy started rubbing their hand vigorously making out they had just used one of the other gel dispensers . These folk are too busy "spreading the love " all over the ship . We just have to keep washing our hands and hope for the best unfortunately.

Unless in the MDR the Ventura /Azura buffet can be a nightmare with their labeling especially on the first dessert counter . They are marked up with the tiniest writing on the description cards " ls"as low sugar. Could be low salt ? 🤔 Folk walk in grab one thinking they are the same as on the other cake counter . On Azura they have started putting small photo's into the cards now to show folk they are on the diet counter .

Sad to read about your husbands health ,lets hope you do manage to get away and have an enjoyable time after his treatment . Wish you both well.🙂

@Josy1953 Sounds like you got yourself a poor rep ,,, 2 hours ?? 😮 I hope you get put through to someone who's a bit more switched on today . Trouble with the review sites is you get folk filling them with comments about how wonderful the agent was when buying the policy and not the claims made . They were very good when we had to claim off our recent claim on the Ventura, they were there when needed at the point of claim . Lets hope at 10 o'clock you get things resolved and have your trouble free cruise .

You got me checking now with my finger oxymeter Jane 🙂 58/96 at the moment . The other year they juggled my meds around bisoprolol now 1.2 and the ramiipril 5mg. Best I have felt for ages with that dosage. We sound like the walking wounded out of the Monty Python sketch .. "It's just a flesh wound " Onwards and upwards 🙃

Sorry to hear about your mum Michelle but have others have said she is in the right place to get sorted ,still a concern for you and the family though. Hopefully as you have said your mums being on heart meds for years and possibly need tweaking one way or other. Sure they will get to the problem and your mum back to her normal self. You take as well .🙂

Yes last week they had a telescopic crane in slinging up short scaffold and other crates as the captain Neil Turnbull in formed the ship that they would be moving things about for one of the pools that needed some work. So it could be ongoing work that you have seen .

With HF I have one of these but the good news is never had to use it from leaving the hozzie . I'm sure the doc will sort out what she needs after her tests ..One step at a time 🙂

That's what my specialist said but unfortunately that's what it is ,part of your heart has ceased to work. As you rightly say it can be managed in most cases with diet, medication and fluid intake . It cannot be cured so we have to take good care of what still works . Would be better if they stuck the word "partial" in the name . @lincslady cross your bridges as you come to them , you may not have H F 🙂

Most likely due to last Friday they were jet washing windows and thought this week we will do other side of ship .

If you know what cabin area of the ship you want ,then check whats available. The Azura one we did was totally sold out a few weeks before final payment day . Best thing would be take a screen shot of your TA quote what you intend to book and see whats on offer when onboard . If it's not a good seller cruise ,you run the risk of losing out to further reductions at a later date . Good luck with your choice .
