Wow !!! That looks brill but I bet it's nowt like Malta's mountains and rivers (They do have them don't they ) Sorry to say I prefer Pete's hotel ,even though we have no idea of what or where it is apart from it's in Malta ..(That if it exists ???) 😉🙃

So really like for like your hotel view looking out to sea is boring ?? May I suggest a holiday in Switzerland they also have nice 4* hotels 🙂

Loving this morning's entertainment Pete , trying to keep up here ! A quick question .. Can you just remind us of how many cruises you had to take before you realised the cruises you paid for were boring ? Also do you think the same could happen to this hidden gem that's in Malta ?🤔

You will wake up the next morning and think "why haven't I done this before ?"🙂

Now that's almost a sport with the competitiveness they have ,more than rugby in some cases! The game can turn into a swearing contest in the jackpot games. All it takes is for one person to shout "HOUSE/BINGO" and the air turns blue. They can get very possessive about their bingo boards .I remember watching a guy and he kept looking at his Mrs bingo board and when she spotted him doing it , she went mad with him .. "Look at your own bingo card ,not mine " she snarled !! He said "But I've done mine and its all full up" Then there is the danger of not winning at all . My aunty Maggie kept losing so turned the dabber on her and covered herself with it .. Sent her dotty in the end 🤣

The funny thing is the sports pundit on Yorkshire TV (Calendar) said .. " You are more likely to see Lord Lucan riding Shergar past your house than Weds making a come back" Funny old game innit ? 😉

Given the choice we always book a hotel for day before cruise when heading for Southampton . A lot of road between Yorkshire and down there to go wrong .

Yes it does seem to be a nice evening ,very pleasant . For those of you, who love rugby ..... A rugby player turns up at A&E with a dislocated shoulder in right pain . A doctor and a couple of burly nurses are trying to wrestle it back into place and the rugby player is yelling, letting them know how uncomfortable the entire procedure is.in no uncertain terms . After a while a passing matron walking by leans in and says "Really, sir, calm down now There's a young lady having a baby just down the corridor and she's not making as much fuss as this." "Well, try pushing it back in again and see what she says then yells the rugby player ".🤣🤣 Have a lovely evening everyone 🙂

Makes you wonder is this a case of big ship big problem that just P&O struggle with ? Will the smaller P&O ships in the fleet run smooth when picking up at Southampton.

I would ring the P&O freephone number sometime next week and see what they advise .

The Mrs tested herself once back from our recent holiday as she had took ill for a few days . Glad to say she was negative result. She still has not got her sense of smell back yet but there is some nasty bugs knocking about and they are nothing to do with the C . My only gripe is some people never learn and selfishly just let their sneezes rip as we saw at least twice whilst in the airport . It aint the planes, ships but there are some dirty bad mannered folk out there who are the problem .

Just asked Mrs K , our online shopping is via Morrisons and have had no issues buying eggs. Possibly down to the Tesco suppliers ?

@Megabear2 Things have gone wrong for you and you have kept people on here abreast of what's happened to you and how you have tried to help others . If I was you I would ,stop posting until your cruise is over and concentrate on yourself. Have a little me time ,you deserve . We would all look forward to your posts on your return where you can tell us all about it, Without you worrying about people you do not know cancelling cruises , your on holiday please take a little time for yourself . 🙂 We love your posts but not at the expense of you getting stressed out by them . I remember you posting the above and it could not have been nice locked away due to Covid. Not sure what you expected P&O to do other than isolate you from others and I really do get what it was like being locked up due to my HF . I never saw any of my family, our grandkids , kids relatives ,no one for over 10 months ! No one just the wife and the medics via phone . Your good wife being accosted by drunks is not nice and fair play to you letting her sort it . I recall Mega B saying she had it happen to her . Jane had it happen on MSC to her granddaughter, so it's not just one cruise line . .I used to tour working men's clubs and it happens everywhere coastal holiday parks etc . We all dust ourselves down and move on and in some cases avoid certain places, just like your doing . Hope you and your Mrs have great happy holidays wherever you choose and hope you too get to move on.

Think I sussed this (on dummy booking ) 1/CLICK LETS BEGIN YOUR BOOKING 2/ Click see prices Standard Balcony 3/ Click recommended + 300 OBC .. CLICK BOOK NOW 4/ At this page you now have options to edit how many people ? Do you want car parking and EDIT CABIN !!! The option to edit cabin should have been used taking you to Choose my own . @Rashmi7 has clicked on through to payment . Looking I can see there are a few balcony cabins left on deck 5 aft . I would look at these and phone P&O stating you clicked complete by error and give them the cabin number you would like . If your not getting through ..Phone them as a new booking as I bet that gets answered ..Tell them you have just booked but made a mistake and hope they let you choose

If you go to the main page for P&O cruises where the topics are listed you will see the amount who have clicked follow, just same as this page next to title shows 13 at present . All this does is alert you to new posts ,that's if you click follow for that page . In no way does it mean others do not read the posts as yours and other posters have proven .
