Don't blame you, unless all the other tables were reserved ,why not ? We had this a few months back and had only just started venturing out trying to keep our distance whenever possible . The restaurant only had a family of four at a table and the waitress tried to sit us as you say inches apart but We indicated we would like a table further away . She tried telling us she could not do that as other tables could be taken . At this time the manageress walked by and said "Why can they not sit where they want ?" The waitress just said "Dunno " There was well over 50 odd tables not in use ! Some times I wonder why the waiting staff do this ? You did right .

Morning 🙂 We were watching TV last night the what we ate in the 70's program . Some things you can still get, but who would want to ? Like those Vesta curry's. Even things like Blue Nun wine starred in the program . How the hell did they convince the men they were better off with a glass of wine , than a pint of Trophy bitter is anyone's guess. Maybe the Mrs back then wanted to keep up appearances and weaned their men off the beer . I bet that was a night to remember a glass of Nun and a plate of Vesta 🥴 Hope you all have a great day and all your shop deliveries have no shortages . We had one, I was talking with my Dad and one of his mates who had his mobile with him when it rang . "Hi we are ??? windows and have a great sale and if you buy today I can offer you ..." Dads mate interjected " are you physic I'm sat here with my pals ,talking of replacing our windows ! " After telling him we also were looking for replacement windows ,the guy seemed very happy and kindly offered us a bulk discount . He hung up and never got back to us once it came to our location ,which was three static caravans in Cleethorpes 🙃

That video is not D503 and is deluxe cabin .If your cabin is standard balcony those come with walk in shower but again fixed shower . We like B deck standard cabin mid ship . I remember our TA crossing .The captain had deployed the ships stabilisers to steady us and being midship we had no problems . As someone posted ,it is polite to stand back in a lift so others can enter. What we found on a few occasions was some one would enter the lift ,smile at us and say "Floor 8 please " with an expectant look on their face . This where I end up telling them "The lift attendant has fell out on the way up ,so you might as well press the button yourself ,as you are stood next to the panel. " 🙃

On our 15 nt TA ,we had the same problem ,the cabin opposite to ours would stop and chat loudly with their buddies and then shout goodnight to them as they went in to their cabin . After 3 or four nights ,I had had enough . Later that morning around 4.30 am (like getting up early ) I got dressed to go up to the buffet for an early morning cuppa. I walked up to their door with my face inches away ,took a deep breath and yelled "MORNING ! DID ANYONE ELSE HEAR THOSE DRUNKS SHOUTING GOODNIGHT WAKING EVERYONE UP ??" Then went for my cuppa ...On my return my Mrs said did you hear someone shout ? If she heard it in our cabin ,I'm sure they got the message and I never heard from them so they got the message .😉
