Back from the 10 day Serenade and at this time in the CL is Gamaliel or Gama who is a strictly by the book person FYI. Very nice when talking with him one on one...we had a great lunch with him.

 

A new Diamond Concierge was coming on this week Dean ? some seemed to know him.

Were you able to take your drinks out of the lounge?

We got 4 or 5 bottles in our cabin on our 11-day on Serenade - we are Diamond.

On the Navigator, we got 8 free bottles of water in our cabin (D+) Do they have this on the Serenade?

We now have reservations at the Courtyard by Marriott, fll airport. Saved $100. It'll be fine for one night.

We made a 9:15 flight FLL. But, we had a back up with SW which we could cancel if we didn't make the 9:15am.

Our ship was delayed about an hour and we still made it. We were one of the first to walk off. Stress, you bet.

Wound up with Hyatt Place convention center ...........gulp, $300. refundable/

I checked all sites and couldn't find it any cheaper. We're used to staying in that are so it'll be fine.. Now I'm getting excited about our last minute trip

No wonder ! We had so much trouble with the D concierge and the Loyalty guy. Took many tries to get our amenities.

Never had that problem on Allure.

Is this the one on Sterling Road? The area is fine, lots of newish chain motels.

Like so many, we were having trouble finding a hotel for March 6, 2016.

Opinions please.....Price $119. + including free shuttle from airport and then to cruise port(military rate)

Just need to know how safe the area is. We don't get into FLL till 5:30pm. Reservation is refundable

Had everything removed on our recent Oasis cruise. (bar guy) Also makes it nice not to be distrubed by him every day, (in case you forget to put the do not disturb sign on the door.
