  1. Interesting we are booked in YC for May 24. On the booking on website we have drinks up to 13?(doesn’t currency)bin all ship areas - no exclusions listed 🤦🏻
  2. When we were last on it was at the Grand Bistro
  3. We have had deck 9 conservatory suites. Always had an invite to welcome aboard buffet lunch with free drinks.
  4. MSC website is clear. Priority boarding (expandable to cabin occupants).
  5. Also Cunard to some extent with the Grills which will be improved on Queen Anne with a better Grills Terrace.
  6. Our BHX Malta flights are TUI charter in April & May
  7. Joining multiple queues amplifies the issue. Talking to restaurant manger passengers do not cancel the queues they are in when they go into their successful restaurant, meaning multiple tables are held for people who won’t turn up.
  8. We did on Virtuosa. We were Celebrity Elite plus and were matched Black (now diamond). Got all the benefits on first cruise.
  9. Jackets are usually enforced in MDR’s, Crows Nest, Chefs Table, Epicurean and Anderson’s. Not sure about Sindu.
  10. It looks like other providers have also increased prices.
  11. Does anyone know if there is special assistance for wheel chair users at Valletta port?
  12. Suite prices on P&O are steep given few perks. They could easily create a section of the MDR for suite guests as they did on Oceana for breakfast.
  13. We were on the same cruise and had a great time. However we found that you had to be really organised and pre-book speciality dining and entertainment to get the best out of the ship before the cruise and immediately on boarding. P&O is definitely changing and has a very different target audience than a decade ago. That said the prices are massively reduced and provide excellent value for money.
  14. Carnival actually own that berth hence its use.
  15. Great lobster last week at Chefs Table.
  16. In theory it does. However last week o lot about 20 books remained. It’s part of Anderson’s.
  17. They are as you describe. We managed to make this work well on Iona for last 2 weeks. Often ordered a starter and soup as well as a desert and cheese - even though they were on the menu together. Waiters were very happy to be flexible as they were at Chefs Table and in Epicurian.
  18. We were also told just under 5,000. That was by the lady at check in on 2nd Jan. Captain told us that Christmas Cruise was an additional 400 ish people - due to children in bunks and on sofa beds.
  19. I believe the thermal areas on ships have a high charge to keep numbers manageable. On Iona it’s a max of 12 people per session.
  20. Just booked a fly cruise on Azura for April 2023. Does anyone know if P&O are using the scheduled Jet2 flights or whether it will be a charter.
  21. On Iona we have just paid £179pp for a 12 day pass.
  22. Just a little tip. It does not say in your cabin how to book a wake up call on your cabin phone. It’s actually *12 Reception staff were unaware how to do this as was the cabin steward. You can ask reception to book one too but often can’t get through to do so. With clocks changing prefer not to rely on mobile etc so the wake up call is a good option for us.
  23. I would 100% try LPC as it’s so different and not available at home. Do not do it on evening chic night so as not to miss lobster in luminea.
  24. You have made an excellent choice and will love Britannia Club. Whilst the cabin is the same as standard balconies the restaurant is excellent and feels very special. Cunard is a definite step up from P&O, but there again so is the price.
