  1. Lunch is served. Peanut Butter silk pie. I grabbed it first.
  2. We left the hotel at 9:20. Everyone was there early and we left. No additional stops and we were at the ship by 9:45. Security and check in was fast, no lines. For the first time in a long time the crew is setting up drinks and cookies in the waiting area.
  3. Good Morning Everyone, happy anniversary to the fleet and daily report. Thanks to all who put everything together. Last night a bunch of parrots were on the hotel rooms window ledge, beautiful but noisy. We saw a lot of them walking to and from Joe’s Diner for breakfast. On the way back from breakfast we saw four police cars across from the hotel blocking the road. Apparently there was a shooting, a little too close for comfort. Last night DH put on his CPAP gear around 8:30, just in case he fell asleep. He was out within 5 minutes. I didn’t last much longer. This morning I was awake before the BHB’s arrived. I did get to watch the Zaandam and Eurodam arrive. Our shuttle pickup is at 9:45 so we should be all checked and ready to board when HAL is ready to let us aboard. I hope everyone has a good day today.
  4. Good Afternoon, we took off about an hour late this morning. There was an issue with the conveyor belts that carry the luggage. When we landed I called the hotel and we were picked up in under 15 minutes. The driver was awesome and the van was full. When I checked in I gave him a compliment and shared the December issue. They let me know that the driver from December received many complaints and was let go. Now I feel better about booking it in November. We walked to Harbor Place, picked up a few things and had dinner at La Bamba. Maybe a drink too.
  5. Good Morning, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. We had a very early wake up call this morning. Our section of town lost power at 2:10 which then tripped the CO2 alarms. Didn’t get back to sleep after that. We cleared the issue with our tickets. It was a JetBlue issue and not an end user problem like they said yesterday. There is a system glitch and if your departure time changes the system can’t see your ticket, it needs manual intervention. Time for more coffee. I hope everyone has a good day today.
  6. Good Afternoon, thanks for the daily fleet report. It has been a very busy work week. I had one meeting this morning and somehow I finally could walk away from the laptop. Only two more hours to go. There seem to be more challenges in getting ready to leave than usual. Earlier this week I called the hotel to clarify where they would pick us up at the airport. The guy said it’s very complicated and needs to be reviewed when we are at the airport. It shouldn’t be that difficult and I’m at home and can clearly hear everything being told me versus the noise at the airport. Long story short and they want us to go away from the hotel pickup area and go to where they say and the driver wouldn’t pick us up there. This morning I received the email to check in for our flight. The website, using multiple browsers, and their app says they can’t find the flight. It does appear in our account. JetBlue says no reason why we can’t check in. That just means time at the customer counter. Now I’m reading that embarkation lunch as been discontinued fleet wide. Disappointing since I thought that a nice way to start the cruise. At least we have Tamarind first night. Today’s meal suggestion sounds really good. I’m not sure what we are doing but I’m leaning towards takeout. I hope everyone has a good rest of the day.
  7. I submitted my proof of shares Friday around lunchtime. I got an immediate acknowledgment and to expect a reply that results would be given in two business days. I received the approval last night around 7:30 pm. I immediately applied for my next three cruises. Now I have to wait five days for HAL to approve and apply the OBC. Definitely not quicker than the old system.
  8. Good Afternoon, thanks for today’s daily report. This morning I got up a pre time change so have been behind all day. I may set the alarm for tomorrow since it’s an in office day. Typically I’m a bit off the entire week after the time changes. Today’s meal suggestion sounds good. @dfish happy birthday to Sue! There seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel. Change Healthcare will start transmitting payments to hospitals this week and will accept new claims next week. I wish I could celebrate this day.
  9. Good Morning, thanks for today’s report. Yesterday I cleaned the upstairs and the cleaned up some leaves from along the driveway. The outside furniture is out and ready to be used on a warm day. This morning I cleaned the downstairs except for the living room. I left the cleaning stuff in the living room and ran an errand, DH the hint. When I got home I started laundry and dinner. I hope everyone has a good day today.
  10. Good Morning, thanks for today’s daily report. Definitely cooler than yesterday, I may try and get some work done outside. The weekend agenda is to clean the house before the pet sitter arrives. Today’s meal suggestion sounds interesting and I have no idea what’s for dinner. Yesterday I created the stock perks account and submitted a copy of my shares, definitely not quicker than before. I’m also debating switching hotels for Friday night, our last visit the free shuttle was too big a hassle.
  11. @JazzyV this attack is a bit more malicious than others. It targeted a vendor that processes claims for hospitals. Most time the average person is unaware of a cyber attack on a hospital. Many times when the attack is made public people think that data was copied and someone else has it, not true. The hospital data is encrypted and you need a key from the hacker to get access to data in your system. Typically the hackers take the money and run. We see these incidents weekly. We can usually bring the customer back online with their data by using a good backup that isn’t infected. I always recommend that we, the patient, retain a full copy of our medical records. US citizens are allowed to ask for this information under the Cures Act. Any organization that doesn’t comply should be reported to CMS. Today is a light work day which is giving my eyes a break from all that screen time. This week by the end of the day going on the tablet or other screen is something I don’t want to do.
  12. Good Morning, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. It’s been a very busy work week. The biggest challenge of the cyber attack is that many hospitals can’t submit claims. We are helping them find alternative solutions to submit claims and then get reimbursed. Some hospitals will struggle to make payroll. Definitely looking forward to eleven days on the Eurodam.
  13. Good Morning, thanks for today’s report. Starting this week work requires us to be in the office twice a week. Tomorrow DH and I will do our civic duty and vote in the primary. Over the weekend I did renew our AAA membership, it gives us a discount on our car insurance. I hope everyone has a good day today.
  14. Good Morning, thanks for today’s report. It’s been a very busy work week with way too many zoom/google meet/teams meetings. Helping customers deal with the cyber attack has been very taxing. While Change Healthcare is their third party many blame us and demand we resolve the issue. We are working on helping them but it takes time. This attack will have some long lasting implications. This week I did manage to get DH’s military benefits applied to all our open bookings. I went to show him an excursion for August and HAL says no upcoming bookings and I have zero Mariner points. Ugh! CC updated their web page and now the hamburger menu does not appear on my tablet to select boards. Must type in boards.cc. Yesterday I did an early shopping trip, leaving at 6:15, to get items that aren’t available close to home. That afternoon Mona and I took a nap. Today I’m catching up on some chores I couldn’t get to during the week. @1ANGELCAT and @dfish thanks for checking upon me.
  15. Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily report. I was checking out flights for our November cruise and found a shortage of direct flights from FLL to Boston. Our usual JetBlue return flight wasn’t there. This morning we booked a flight with Delta to return home, it leaves at 11 on November 17.
  16. Good Morning, thanks for today’s report. I never considered broccoli with egg, I’d give it a try. Not much on today’s agenda, I might not even leave the house. I hope everyone has a good day today.
  17. Good Morning, thank you for today’s daily fleet report. Today’s meal suggestion sounds is a really nice treat. Tonight we will have baked ziti with some wine. Today there is only one meeting on my work schedule. I do expect to be a bit busy helping customers deal with the cyber attack at Change Healthcare. I hope everyone has a good day today.
