  1. Nearly 100 cruises under my belt and I have NEVER had any cruise line communicate port parking options to me.
  2. What does Royal need to own? They have communicated that Norfolk is the new embarkation point; what more needs said?
  3. Royal will not be offering bus service for any itineraries beyond next week’s return to Norfolk
  4. It’s been a long time since psych rotation, but I do believe there is a pathology for this behavior.
  5. Never, ever, ever happen Interesting first post however
  6. In today's age of remote learning one is seeing this more often. There are far more school aged kids on the World Cruise than I ever would have imagined.
  7. They have more than a 7 day menu, was on a 10 day trip last fall, and no repeats
  8. remember there is a "compared to others good price" and a "is it worth this much price"
  9. I never put any cash down; on a 7 day cruise you can charge up to $500 before they expect payment. When one hits that $500 mark, just go down to GS and authorize a credit card charge for your balance and start over at $0 with $500 credit to go. wash, rinse, repeat
  10. This guy's VLOG is losing credibility by the minute, some of the things he says just make ZERO sense and are in complete contradiction to what other (better known) outlets are reporting.
  11. Wow I had no idea, and I must say; I believe I have violated this policy and never been charged. Good information; thank you. Any day you learn something new is a good day.
  12. There are fees for canceling your cruise, not for canceling dinner
  13. Of course you do, that’s a freight port you see You see the same thing from port Everglades, Miami, and Galveston. This doesn’t mean that cargo ships can dock and unload at cruise terminals; that is the point of the above post.
  14. Relaxation and respiratory rate (as well as blood pressure) are directly proportional.
  15. Lately I have not seen enough cost savings in the UDP to even fool with it. I book and pay for individual reservations in the CP, and then relax and don't worry about it.
  16. And port fees are rarely refunded. The fees you pay are an estimate based on historical data. When the ports post their actual fees, they are often higher than you paid; when something is cancelled, those fees go to cover the shortage.
  17. Let’s see, provide an example of a passenger demanding, and receiving a refund on their cruise, because the cruise stopped at an island that was on the FCDO advisory list. I cannot provide an example of that, because IT DOES. NOT HAPPEN
  18. Your drink package tips and your $18 daily service charge are independent of one another.
