  1. No, regardless of your experience, my statements on Royal’s business plan are 100% factual and indisputable. Not a troll statement at all
  2. It is in the same document where they list Anthem as the third lowest rated ship.
  3. If this were true, then you would know that a 400%-500% markup on alcohol in a resort setting is pretty standard. You should also be aware of the increase in the wholesale market. Regardless of your feelings on the costs, Royal’s per cruise revenues are eliminating Covid debt faster than any other mainstream line. They know exactly what they are doing.
  4. Makes about as much sense as a 10 year staff member sharing negative statistics to a customer. You lose credibility with every post
  5. Tell me you don’t understand the business model without telling me you don’t understand the business model.
  6. Sounds like the standard markup for alcohol resale the world around. I truly don’t see a unique situation here that backs your claims that Royal is treating the Euro market differently than any other.
  7. Urban myth, the toilet paper supplied online has no differing characteristics than your paper at home except for thickness. The type of paper provided onboard is provided due to cost and no further consideration. The TP you bring from home is perfectly safe for the vacuum system on the ships, and may actually increase its effectiveness due to its density providing for a greater vacuum seal. This has been confirmed at more than one Captain's corners as well as by our residents onboard expert @chengkp75 The moist wipes some use would not be good for the ship's plumbing, my plumber said they aren't good for land based plumbing either.
  8. The fact is the venues were sparsely populated; sorry didn’t mean any offense, just stating facts
  9. Very little western themed entertainers on Galveston ships; obviously the majority of the cruising public just isn't into that when cruising. Allure had the Texas Tenors on board in February. With the exception of the fan club charter cruisers, no one seemed too interested.
  10. Absolutely no problem; the Anker model I travel with has 6 USB ports and probably a 5 foot cord https://www.anker.com/products/a2123?variant=37436925477014&ref=collectionBuy
  11. If it makes one outlet into multiple outlets there is a fair chance it will be confiscated. USB hubs are a much safer way to go.
  12. Yet sea based as well as land based casinos have successfully made the transition to smoke free
  13. Celebrity does it very successfully, Royal can as well.
  14. Boy, you just can’t stop digging that hole, can you? Bringing up more unnecessary socio economic “facts”
  15. “Blue collar” is a socio-economic term. If you didn’t intend to use the term you should have just said “my husband doesn’t routinely wear office attire or suits at work”
  16. Well, that is one way to go; I think I’ll stick with my norm of taking it down a notch. I am a big fan of “live and let live”
  17. I can’t recall ever seeing Johnny Rockets open for lunch on embarkation day on any ship If you pull up this week’s adventure of the seas sailing and look at their cruise compass, you will get the definitive answer
  18. So, using your rationale, since I am white collar and dress up every single day, I should take this opportunity to dress a little more casual and relax and enjoy myself. By the way, I fail to see the reasoning on bringing socioeconomic status into the conversation
  19. Capital Grille will even allow shorts for dinner, at least in the Dallas area. Ruth’s Chris was just bought by the Olive Garden so I expect their standards to fall even further.
  20. I wear my dress flip-flops with my dress shorts quite often to dinner, main dining room, specialty restaurants, five star accommodations on land. No problems anywhere ever.
  21. It’s a long established fact that inter-porting cruises have a lot to do to polish up the equality of the experience between the two embarkation debarkation points
  22. However the entire post here is the fact that there is not a dress code...period
