  1. Cabins are ready immediately upon boarding, as long as you board after 1400
  2. WYZE Rechargeable Night Lights with Dusk to Dawn & Motion Sensors, Warm & Soft White Step Lights for Bathroom,Hallway, Bedroom, Kids Room, Kitchen, Stairway, 3 Pack https://a.co/d/4R45jbg we have been using these the last few trips and they are awesome. Stick right to the cabin wall, motion activated and a nice warm light to show the way without disturbing your partner’s sleep.
  3. Departure (or debarkation) day is also the last day. First day is embarkation day
  4. I have all my personal documents loaded to a business cloud account
  5. The original point was the WHTI, whose purpose it is to make it easy for anyone to be on those ships, regardless of passport. Less than 30% of American citizens hold a passport.
  6. $50,000 or so in port fees for every ship that pulls in every day adds up quick.
  7. It is called the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative-the US State Department and the Caribbean Islands really aren't too concerned what the rest of the world thinks about it because it allows BILLIONS of dollars to flow into the Island economies.
  8. click the cart icon at the top right of the page, go to the checkout page Under every item in your cart, in small blue letters, is the word "remove"
  9. Very true, I take advantage of the "hold" option regularly with my TA
  10. Not enough to be of consequence, and the company knows that. For every party that declines to book, there are more that accept the terms, and fill the ships (at a maximized profit margin). Airlines do the same thing, no price is locked in until the credit card has been authorized. As a customer, I can understand the frustration. As a shareholder, I appreciate the companies performance.
  11. Nothing new here, business as usual for many many years
  12. Most phones can’t hotspot WiFi, only cellular data streams.
  13. This was the instance where Van Fleet was written off in my book, the arrogance with which he guided Royal corporate to continue to demand passengers arrive at the Port of Galveston for embarkation was so erroneous it was bordering on criminal negligence; the guy had zero credibility with me after that.
  14. all you need is your DD-214; that said however, the Vet discount is very difficult to get applied, I am successful maybe 1 time in 5. Usually there is some other discount that over rides it.
  15. At that age the kids will have as much fun on the ship as they would PDCC, I would not let that be the determining factor. The ships are more alike than different so that is a push. For me , on this one, airfare from Phoenix would play a major role, but you can't go wrong either way. As far as Jamaica and a safety warning, I would not give that a second thought, you will have zero issues.
  16. Regardless you can't deny the "sailing full at high fares" posts, it is a reality. Is it enough? That's a horse of a different color.
  17. not to mention every airline in the world that relies on the weather reports available to us all. The position of "staff meteorologist" was always just a public facing window dressing type of post anyway
  18. The raised seal is no longer a requirement, as many places have stopped using this “technology”; but of course as you stated, it must be an official copy from the issuing authority
