  1. Yes, I do. Amazed how the words come back easily, since I don’t have many opportunities to speak French. Yes, we fly Saturday to Madrid, hopefully it will “save” our trip. Prado is too “classic” for DH. Besides, we fall on May 1st, museums will be closed. Had no idea the Spaniards still celebrate this day.. I booked train tickets to Toledo for this day 😎
  2. Thanks Judy. We just made it to Marakkech, finally and exhausted. Border control took forever checking out my DH passport and visa… Then, a first - your luggage is checked out at the exit… Our accommodation in a old house just inside the Medina is quite disappointing — no window, just a door to a corridor, very dark and quite drably. Internet very very slow to practically non existent… that’s what get us when you “aspire” to live like a locals … And it is HOT, scorching 🥵 — 102-103F 😰😰
  3. thanks Judy, we just made it, finally, to Marrakech… The wifi is very weak… we wanted to experience “living like a local”… and that’s what we got… beside, it is HOT — 100-102F 😰😰😰
  4. I know exactly what you mean... When we're crawling inch by inch in the heavy traffic to fetch the grands (at least ours is "only" 1.5 hours each way), that's what keeps me going 😘 Zoey is adorable, and Christina is beautiful. To me too, as long as you go with very low expectations regarding the ship/food/service...
  5. If I may -- Santorini is amazing, and I strongly recommend a ship excursion which will take you up to Oia, and then to Fira, with a voucher for the cable car. Corfu - we rented a small car right at the pier, and drove all over the island, beautiful. Mykonos - one and done. Kusadasi -- we went a bit just outside the terminal and negotiated & rented a taxi just to take us to Ephesus and back, no shopping stops. Rhodes -- the old city is a short walk from the pier, we enjoyed the atmosphere, sitting at a busy cafe.
  6. First hand experience -- POA was awful. BUT, we knew it before hand, and treated it as a quite smelly 2* motel, which will allow us to taste as much as possible of the islands (given the distance we had to travel) and the nil chance that we'll ever return. We had a rented car waiting for us in every port, were pleasantly surprised by the easiness of driving, and the cleanliness of the restrooms along the way.
  7. It is widely used here. DH likes it, but then he's a "native". I don't like it, too strong a taste for me. Same with oregano. Here's from "Wiki" -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Za'atar
  8. The "technique" works well 😎 He forgot the eggs for the ramen [not for the noodles]. I asked him how many does he need, he replied "one for each", I said "we have enough", he thought I'll "deal" with them, and I thought he will.... 😠
  9. He is back 😊 ! After 4 weeks of ill health, DH is again in his natural habitat - the kitchen 😉 Prepping the ingredients for the ramen (hand made noodles, forgot the eggs....) and the end result, oh, so tasty.
  10. Hi Deb, I've got your message on whatsapp and replied immediately. It seems you didn't open your phone from March 25th??? Pls. let me know if NOW you see my reply 😘
  11. Same here. Just double checked with my trusted TA.
  12. I'm feeling like reliving @Georgia_Peaches's "adventures" all over again. Hopefully, you'll not arrive at the last moment. Wishing you both a very enjoyable cruise/s 🌷
  13. I'm sorry, I can't remember who posted it to give credit.
  14. + 1 , Debbie @Sunshine3601 Our only lousy cruise was on this ship..... @aussielozzie18 Get well soon, wishing you the mildest "version" ever 🌷
