  1. I haven’t experienced it myself, but saw some pictures and videos. It looks very similar to Le Petit Chef on Celebrity ( which I have experienced and loved)
  2. I’ve booked a walking tour with See Sight Tours. Found it through trip advisor. Meeting point is very close to cruise port.
  3. I’ve had this happen too and have just called PVP to get what I want. Been happening for a while now
  4. Last November, on Emerald, I booked the Sanctuary for the full cruise. I ordered food and drink for delivery every day. Sometimes from the Sanctuary menu but mostly from the medallion app and wasn’t charged any delivery fees.
  5. I booked a mini too, such a small increase over a regular or deluxe balcony.
  6. I just booked this too. Very (pleasantly) surprised at the fares, thought they would be higher for a special cruise as this.
  7. That looks like the same letter provided on the 5/21 sailing. I think it is provided to help set expectations for tendering.
  8. On May 21 sailing, Dublin and Edinburgh had local tenders in addition to the ship tenders. And yes all the tenders were stuffed to capacity. It’s been 12 days since I tested positive (day after I got home) and just took a test and still have that faint second line and some lagging symptoms. Stay safe
  9. I was on the May 21 sailing. Knowing I had to test to fly home I took precautions. Ate at a private table, wore KN95 mask. Took stairs as much as possible. I flew home the day after disembarkation so I took an emed test on 6/2 and was negative. I was starting to feel off that same day, could be allergies as they were bothering me when I was in London prior to cruise and tested negative then too. On June 4 I woke up at home and knew it wasn’t allergies and yep tested positive. A week later I am still sick but improving. On my survey I did mention I had tested positive 2 days after disembarkation. The tour buses is where I suspected I caught it. The one bus the coughing was non stop. on my sailing there were 2100 passengers and a crew member told me the next one had 600 more.
  10. I just did the emed test as I was flying home day after disembarkation from Southampton. As soon as we docked, I turned off airplane mode and used my phones data. No way would I rely on ship Wi-Fi. l would make sure to the International plan added to your cell for many reasons.
  11. I’m reading the part in gray as the answer to this question and bolded in the post prior. Starting with Princess will cover the cost of tests, provided guests can show proof etc while this is clear as mud, they aren’t actually saying they will administer when answering the question
  12. I’m reading that as Princess is only stating they will cover cost of test, not administration and cost, if proof of same day flight is provided.
  13. I was also on the Emerald that disembarked on June 2. Since I was flying home on the 3rd I did the emed test as soon as we docked. I turned off airplane mode to do the test. United airline would not let me check in without uploading proof of negative test. When we landed in Newark the Department of Health met us and after immigration we had to show our tests, passport and also vaccine proof. That last one I thought was odd as US citizens aren’t required to be vaccinated.
