We just didn't enjoy Kaiseki as much as the other restaurants so we don't book it anymore. I do like the sushi at lunch. To us, Kaiseki was not awful, just not great.
I was booked on the inaugural voyage in July and that got canceled. I am now on the second voyage in August and I too am hoping the construction schedule is on time for August.
We just did a cruise on the Dawn last July and last November. Everything could not have been better. We love all the dinner choices and the service and quality was over the top. You can't always believe what is posted on the internet. We have five more cruises booked on SS for the future. My only thought is to think about the newer larger ships, but that is just me.
You may have misread my post- I said that maybe SS screwed up and maybe they didn't. As it turns out, my email to the president of the company got me almost an immediate satisfactory response. My flights are now being changed to a legal connection time through Heathrow. I am very happy with SS Air Desk.
