  1. My DW and I both use CPAP's, so need an outlet on each side of the bed. I the past the multi outlet devise serve us well. Now we'll need an extension cord run across the floor. Rollie
  2. Also remember the MCSS has a 2 door entry. Not a fas of that.] Rollie
  3. We have an Aqua Theater Suite booked on the Symphony. I was wondering if the rock climbing wall was a problem while on the balcony. Rollie
  4. I think I prefer the Apex. Beyond has more suites, one reason the sundeck is bigger. I like the outside area in the lounge on the Apex. We sat there a lot. Beyond doesn’t have this. Rollie
  5. Love the aft cabins. That said, there is a support pole next to the bed that could be bothersome. It’s a long walk to the elevators. Other than that, I think you picked a great location. Rollie
  6. Don't book a cabin on the top or lowest deck, as the Magic Carpet can be parked just above you or right below you. It kind of obscures your view. Rollie
  7. We booked a cruise well in advance, and got Orange Club. Our friends decided to join us a couple of months later and, Club Orange was full. I called nearly every day for them and after several weeks of trying, finally got an opening. I guess we were very lucky. Rollie
  8. Same thing happened to us. We sail in November and had a big charge added to our account. Looks like they omitted a sale price that we got. A long call corrected the problem. Rollie
  9. In the last 6 months we have been on both Apex and Beyond in aft sunset cabins on deck 12. On Apex we heard chairs moving at 5 in the morning [annoying but tolerable] On Beyond chairs we moving at 1 in the morning along with 5 in the morning. Enough noise that we complained. We didn't hear the 1am noise again. The sunset shy suite was next to us, and they were also bothered by the noise. No more deck 12 for us. Rollie .
  10. Thanks for all the replies. Rollie
  11. Can we book Le Voyage pre cruise and get reimbursed once we board ship? We worried about getting dining time we want. Thanks All Rollie
  12. We're cruising on the Koningsdam next year out of San Diego. We're looking at a 11:15am flight home. I'm a little nervous about the early flight, but it's the only non stop home. Thanks for any feed back. Rollie
  13. All right you guys. We're going on this cruise next year. My question to you is, can we make an 11:15am flight? It's the only non stop home. Thanks for your feed back. Rollie
  14. Thanks for sharing. I was hoping someone would post on You Tube. Rollie
  15. If you are thinking of doing Club Orange, do it fast, it sells out. Rollie
  16. As we will be on this itinerary next Feb, I'm really looking forward to your views. Thanks for posting. Rollie
  17. Loved your video. I'm not sure I could do that walk, seems like a long way with two big suit cases and a back pack. I think we're going to price the Wyndham. Rollie
  18. Did you walk from your hotel to the dock with all your luggage? Looking forward to more of your posts. Thanks Rollie
  19. As a Packer fan I can't say sorry, but I do want to thank you for this post. We will be doing Koningsdam to Polynesia Feb of 25. You provided us with a lot of useful information. My Packers and your Cowboys have a lot of playoff history. I remember back in the 90's, they used to knock us out of the playoffs almost every year. Rollie
  20. Looks as if Celebrity has reversed it's decision to overcharge cabins for solo cruisers. They got a lot of negative press. Rollie
  21. I agree whole heartedly. Price is near what it was when tips were included. Rollie
  22. We had no issues booking this cruise. I will say that they sent us a preferences questionnaire pre cruise and didn't follow through and any requests. Rollie
  23. We were on the Seashore out of Port Canaveral for a 3 day cruise. The cruise was full with about 4000 guests. We've only been in Sky Suites on Celebrity, and we had a Deluxe Suite on the Seashore, a comparable cabin. Storage and balcony were superior on MCS, but cabin outlets were much better on Celebrity. The bathroom was better on Celebrity. The sundeck on MSC was by far the most enjoyable part of the cruise. Rollie
