Laurie. I know what you mean about colors looking different. When we first bought this house we had to stop the ugliest wallpaper off the kitchen walls (yellow wallpaper with orange & brown daisies). We decided on aqua. I went off to buy the paint. The guy mixed tge print & showed me, I opted for a little brighter. Guy asked if this was trim. I said no a kitchen. Hmm, should’ve been my first clue. Got it home, Les puts the first roller of paint on the wall & looks at me & said 2 or 3 shades. I said 2, maybe 3. He said, you’re going to live with it. It was brilliant turquoise. Never had to turn on lights bright. Two years later we were doing a little renovation & the contractor asked if I was married to the color. I said almond sounds good 🙄 Anita, sounds like you have a good move plan. Pack that car tight!

Easy suppah tonight. Costco garlic butter shrimp, Rao marinara & angel hair pasta with a nice glass of Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio. Not clothing or beauty, but ah well. Melody

I pick a color palette. Black, white & a bright color (cobalt blue, hot pink, red). Everything mix/Match. I bring one suitcase & a carryon. I wear sparkly tops & black silk pants for dress your best nights. I do bring extra shoes as my feet tend to swell. I do bring at least 10 tops (I spill)

Anita! Seattle is an interesting city, fabulous coffee & seafood. I think you’ll enjoy living there. Lots of good areas but some really scuzzy at night. You were just getting your FL house where you were comfortable, you move as often as we did when Les was active duty! My record is 4 moves (or was it 5???) in one calendar year (I try to forget that year!! Melody

Granddaughter took all the neighborhood littles out last night. She dressed as a traffic cone…safety first

We had our annual flu shot in Sep, our RSV vaccine in Oct & our Covid vaccine (they’re no longer calling it a booster) tomorrow.

5 degrees here today when I went to a graveside inurnment for a good friend’s dad this morning. OOTD, Omni heat long parka, boots, merino wool socks, merino wool cap & merino wool gloves. Merino woolx leggings & merino wool sweater. It all kept me pretty comfy for the 45 minute ceremony in the 10” of snow. Melody

News said he played 2 hours of pickle ball & came home & got into a too hot jacuzzi
