Exactly why my next trip is on Virgin 😆

Let me set the scene for you.. April 1997. Family cruise, was supposed to be on The Big Red Boat but they went under (only metaphorically) and our travel agent moved us to the Fantasy. I have a big family. There were many of us including myself (13 at the time) and my newly 16 year old male cousin. Somehow we ended up in a room together, they just sort of split us off by age. It’s the final night of the cruise and we all need to get our luggage out by 11pm. Me being the responsible one, done. My cousin….? Nowhere to be found. Entire family searching for him. Probably staff searching for him. He’s finally found.. where you may ask? With a bunch of chicks on the topless deck. 🤣😆

Hope he’s got a good skincare routine. Can’t imagine that stuff breathes well.

Maybe he didn’t realize the Halloween festivities were for the kids?

I am a proud glacierita survivor. I lived to tell the tale. Did I get covid? Yes. Did I get a bacterial infection? No. Hindsight is 20/20 though.. pretty gross.

I love those stupid first night shrimp. Last cruise we had steakhouse ressies night one and I was totes planning on getting some shrimp from the buffet too. Howeverrrr someone (psssst it was me) got too drunk on 1/2 price fishbowls from Red Frog (RIP) and slept through dinner. 🤷🏼‍♀️😇

Can’t be too careful. I hear that class of 1960 is on a real bender. 😂
