Not real hard to walk up to the bar

It is so easy to order at a bar or through waitstaff

It is really simple to order by phone. Every time I have been quarantined for Covid I ordered all my meals over the phone by calling service. Order usually cam within 30 minutes

On some ships the doors have been locked some not

Yes we always do 2 self laundry trips every 10 dais are so for those delicate items. Most goes out to ship’s laundry

The think the noise level on Royal class ships is much higher then Grand class ships due to the design of putting so many venues around the piazza which itself is very noisy. We eat in reserve dining and have not noticed any noise issue. However we usually eat at 7:30 or later

The Emerald was already experimenting with per dish at Salty Dog

I would hesitate to use the term post Covid. Maybe us post pandemic. I have gotten Covid twice on ships in the last 10 months

Suites can have the MDR dishes delivered to the suite if they don’t want to go to MDR. What they don’t tell you is since all courses are delivered at once the hot/cold ratio does get screwed up

The problem is a CVP cannot book using a bounce back offer. We finally got overseas to recognize our offer and a payment was made and of course it was totally messed up. Plus show on the app not the travel summary and free play is not showing. Our CVP is now trying to get it straightened out

Still some much cheaper than California

When I lived in California I lived in an overpriced house with a horrendous property tax, a large sales tax on everything and an income tax on wages of over $100,000. Now we can live on social security and investments in a small condo and can buy a car with no sales tax and same with appliances and everything else. Believe me we save so much money here than in California. Oh and my average bull for electric (we have no gas) is under $50 per month

We use our Union 76 card since it gives us the same rate as cash

You will get whatever brand they happen to get at the port where the load the ship. We have seen many different brands none very high end

That is correct this happened to us when we changed cabins after we had the medallions in our hands. It will automatically move to your new cabin

That is odd when I go to book an excursion before sailing the system prompts me to ask do you want to use your OBC ?

Another reason I moved prior to retirement

It is a lot like Carnival since Princess is within the Carnival Corp. we just got some tax forms for some jackpots we had on the June VIP cruise and they came from Carnival Corp

We are always shocked to see sales tax on anything since our state does not have one

Before we started getting casino deals we would book minisuites and then get upgrade offers to full suites. Can’t go back anymore. I have not seen much cut backs over the last 15 years. Can’t afford the luxury lines so can’t compare their suites

Can you get a full suite on Silversea for $250 per per add on per day ? And get extra OBC and gambling money ? That is about what we end up paying for full suites on casino deals

Those shown s VIP will have extra hosts in the casino and lots of raffles for free play each evening. Plus some gifts sent to your cabin like bottles of wine chocolates etc

In my opinion a mini suite is of no real value. Just a little more room than a balcony. No perks at all like laundry, free specialty dining on embarkation night, no specialty breakfast and no reserve class dining unless you pay extra for a reserve class mini suite. I will continue to book casino free cabins and upgrade to full suites
