  1. Another good reason not to turn off your phone during a cruise. We use ours to text the various members of our traveling group and check folios
  2. Chefs table = too much just ok food and mediocre wines
  3. I have only heard of using the medallion to pay in some selected stores. Not the drink package. I believe if you look at the provisions of the drink package you will not find anything about being used in a non Princess venue. The onshore program talks about using medallion pay only. Personally I would never use the medallion to pay off the ship. How would you challenge a charge once you leave port ?
  4. Either or. In fact if you are elite in a full suite you can have 2 Mimi bars.
  5. They are finally admitting that there were never any true arrival times
  6. You think mini bars and free laundry aren’t great perks ?
  7. We are sailing her in April. Word is it will be dry docking in late September possibly in Portland
  8. On the Discovery last month no tokens were needed all washing and drying was free
  9. There are cameras everywhere just look up. By the way the can see you on your balcony bad well. That is how they can see people jumping overboard
  10. I was recently on the Discovery and the nearest plug for a CPAP machine in my penthouse suite needed a an extension cord to reached
  11. When was this “recent “ cruise ? The Sapphire has been in Alaska since May. The last cruises to Hawaii for that ship look to been at least 6 months ago if not back in 2022. If you are trying to comment about current cruises please give the dates of the cruise
  12. You can’t take 2 minutes of your precious vacation time to push a button ? If you have to wait for a table do you complain about losing vacation time
  13. Unless you are there before boarding is allowed there really isn’t any priority. If you are early they will put you in a separate area and once boarding starts they will let you on board. Otherwise people are boarded as they are processed
  14. I will agree that the Royal class ships were great a year ago but after experiencing the Discovery in June with at least 100% capacity and kids running rampant all over the ship and the noise in the piazza being deafening we will opt for Grand class ships from now on
  15. The concierge lounge only exists on Royal class ships. Nothing like it on the Ruby. The area of Skywalkers you are hearing about is the elite/suite cocktail /snack area
  16. We got clips a year ago and reuse them on every cruise. Anyone can order these or buy them on board
  17. Incorrect the responder is referring to the devices specifically made to refill bottles just like the ones in airports. These are not the ones where you hold your bottle up to the spout. You have to put your bottle down in order to fill it. I have only seen this on the Discovery. They are found in airport all over the world
  18. Then why don’t you go to guest services and change your medallion for a cruise card ?
  19. You do realize that there are tons of cameras all over the ship that can be used to track you as well. In the casino alone pretty much every square foot can be seen on camera
  20. We have been on 54 Princess cruises since 1992 and the only time we have had issues with charges were when they were using cruise cards. Sine medallion’s have been used we have not had any issues. When one of us goes to the casino bar or flags Dow a server we always give our cabin number and say please charge one to each account
  21. After about a month they finally said they found it but after an hour conversation and being charged the free play has never shown up all we got was the free balcony which we paid to upgrade to a full suite. Our CVP is now trying to get it all put back together
  22. Some ships, like the Discovery this summer in Alaska hours are 11:30 to 1:00
  23. No. Everyone in the suite can send as much out as they like. We generally send our a couple of bags every few days
