The design of the Royal class ships also works against you. So much is centered around the wide open piazza that it all gets clogged and noisy. We were on the Discovery for 2weeks full of first timers and tons of kids. I will stick to Grand class from now on

I have had Covid twice in less than a year. Mild with low fever. I do not know anyone in. My family or group of friends who have not had it at least once. This has nothing to do with a cursed cruise or ship

With all the new variants there is no way to avoid Covid anymore than you can avoid a cold. I wear masks while boarding planes, in public restrooms and on public transit. I have gotten Covid twice in the last year but that won’t keep me from cruising we have 6 booked in the next year + -
Go to a bar unless you have a full suite then you will get bottles each day in your stateroom

Same issue here since 6/18. It is as if all the minor deals get loaded and the good ones don’t. Our bounce back is for free balcony and $600 free play per person

The Ruby is not a large ship and large ships dock all the time in Victoria and Astoria. We docked in the outer harbor in Victoria last month on the Discovery and last year in Astoria on the Majestic. Again the Ruby is not s mega ship with just over 3,000 passengers -
Don’t expect that on every cruise you take. I do prefer a can and do order them but I am charged This has happened on 8 cruises since March 2022

Yes but if you are willing to take fountain cokes they are included. Packages have not included cans if fountain is available for several years

Small flat bottled water is unlimited with the plus package. Can’t remember the brand water is water

Just sit at any bar that is open and you will be served. Never had a problem or wait

We hardly ever use our phones on cruises except to check news, sports, text each other and of course play wordle. We have always found bar stools and really don’t need to have food in our room. IC, MDR and outside food venues always have something g somewhere we can get things to eat
