Correct never plan on the MTG or you may very well be disappointed especially with cruises out of LA or SF. We have over 500 days and almost never make the cut offs from those ports

Is the Bar Harbor restaurant at the pier still open or has it been replaced ? We will be there twice in the next few weeks

Please note lunch is only available in the MDR on sea days

Our favorite was back in the 1990’s on an Alaskan cruise with only 20 or so elites. The captain has us all up on the bridge for wine and snacks while at Hubbard Glacier

I don’t know how much more casual you can get than Princess MDR. I never wear a tie or jacket. Usually pull on cargo pants and short sleeve shirts. Also never eat before 7:30. Don’t care for food that has been picked over by people who never wash their hands before entering and sample as the walk through. I pay for food prepared for me , at the proper temperature and has not bee sitting out.

I guess we have made a good decision to stay away from the newer shops. However I only grab a bite or 2 at lunchtime

In my opinion a buffet is a buffet. Some are larger some are smaller but all are to be avoided when you can

I have seen it in both the Crown or Sabatini’s on numerous cruises. Usually in Sabatini’s but can vary

Check your app boarding pass. If it show green lane your medallions are on their way regardless of any email you have or don’t have

On cruises out of SF we find that MTG usually has a cutoff over 600-700

I wouldn’t trust the app on that. My wife’s medallion never showed as shipped but was received last week. Once you are within 10 days or so of sailing the medallion history is not available

The bean is not really a problem in my opinion but the biggest difference between Vista and Penthouse is the size of the balcony. If you are used to Penthouse balconies you may be a bit disappointed with the Vista

I’ll pass on the production shows since they repeat cruise after cruise. I will occasionally show up for a guest songs, magician or comedian

Pretty hard to call it a “perk”. Snacks that people have picked up with their hands in many cases. I’d rather hang out in the Wheelhouse or Crooners

We ordered medallions for both of us. My wife never got an email saying it had shipped but it came in Friday. Mine showed shipped 10 days ago and nothing has showed up and we leave town in 6 days. Somehow it will work out

No the only dedicated all day lounge for full suites is in Royal class ships. No really big deal for us we rarely used it on the Royal class ships

Once you are too close to embarkation nothing about medallions can be pulled up

And I think I would have heard something from my CVP if there had been a change. We just got off the Ruby in April and it was alive and well in Da Vinci

I am sailing next week if there is no reserve dining area I will be very surprised

I would not worry much about the app. It has so many glitches that you really can’t believe much on it until you get on board
