I don’t get how you call the art auction folks shysters. No one forces you to give up your cabin number or buy art work. It is no difference from small art galleries it is up to the buyer what the worth of the art is Hey peoples tastes are different. I buy the art I like and don’t buy things I don’t. I don’t buy the art to put on my walls as an investment but for a pleasant and interesting environment

For us late dining is always preferred. I don’t think we have ever eaten prior to 7:30

The only 2 times we had toilet issues not resolved in 24 hours we either were offered another cabin or generous OBC

I guess you would not want to come to our house for dinner because all we use is unsalted. Princess food has so much salt that I find I have to be careful or by ankles will start to swell

The question about plus package just comes down to what will you use ? Wi-Fi and crew appreciation for most is a no brainer. The rest comes down to drinks Will you have say 2-3 cocktails a day every day plus some coffees. ? If you will do this regardless of having the package the I would get the package and you will ave money. Most of the drinks I have run from $10-$12 per drink. I would have them with or without the package so I get the package. I don’t understand taking a port intensive cruise and watch TV all the time. Also are you expecting to have NBC on ship ? It is not a channel on their TV’s. They do have 2 sports channels but no guarantee on what they will show. Most of the time we see soccer and rugby on those stations

I have only seen champagne in full suites and reserve class mini suites

With all the salt in the food on Princess do you really need more in your butter ? We only use unsalted butter at home. Heck I grew up on margarine

The extra $20 per day per person on a 2 week cruise adds an awful lot of money. 2 specialty dinners don’t really make enough difference to me. We don’t do show and flaring mostly drinks included with plus. We each have a connection for WiFi and that works for me. We live on phones no computers

They may still have some people coming from the airport or they may still be loading supplies

The only upgrade to get laundry done for free if you are not elite is to book a full suite. I would love to know where you see reference to this with Princess

Be advised the Brazilian restaurant is located in a portion of the buffet. We love Sabatini’s but is only $35 per person. We only take plus packages since we drink mostly normal cocktails and buy bottles of wine with 25% discount

It’s not clear who you booked with and encouraged you to book speciality dinners in advance a TA or call center or CVP. Specialty dinners never sell out in advance they always leave tables open to be booked on board. If you are talking about MDR then yes they book very early. We eat around 7:30 and have never had a problem with booking even the same day. Also was it your friend who sold you a premier package for $80 per day per person ? Specialty dinners are no more than $39 per meal. You are likely paying for the ability to have high end wines. If you drink normal cocktails you probably could have got by with the plus package. Were you given options ?

My CVP has been handling all of my casino offers for well over a year. I don’t anticipate CVP ‘ s going away.

The important word there is SELECT. RT cruises that call on Columbia also need passports. Don’t assume anything as countries can change requirements at any time. Best to just get a passport

We prefer the Crown and Grand class ships. The Royal class just have too many people and too much noise in the Piazza. We do take Royal class if the itinerary is something we really really want and can get an aft wraparound suite

How late are you talking ? The casino bar and Crooners are usually open well after midnight and I always get a double Sambucca on my way back to the cabin

Your tour ticket in your cabin will tell you when and where to meet No reason to even think about it ahead of time

We always pick one afternoon to have lunch in the stateroom and watch one movie. Kind of a tradition

Ship time is different from local time sometimes and there is a big mention in the patter and usually in the sign at disembarkation location
