  1. If you’re using Vibe or a pool person, deck 15 and 16 mid ship are ideal. You simply walk up a flight of stairs or two and you’re good. We’ve stayed in 15758 which oddly enough is on YouTube as a featured video (not ours). We are sailing Viva and Prima again, booked on the 16th floor mid ship. One flight of stairs to Vibe, buffet, pool.
  2. This is correct. Syd's is contractually scheduled to perform in its own trademarked location. There is some discussion to be more flexible but as it stands right now, don't hold your breath for Rumours or Prom in the main theater.
  3. Agree on the quality of the pizza. And while I won’t get into an argument with someone about lines or pizza, I certainly will tell anyone where the line starts. Because I’m sure they just don’t know. We have priority tendering and this woman lost her mind because the Hotel Secretary grabbed us as we exited an elevator to take us down another set of steps to the tender. She told people every time we saw her on the ship to “watch out, here comes a big shot” and how ridiculous it is that “some people” get preferential treatment. After the third day, I asked her to stop because it was making us uncomfortable. That made it worse. So I just started sending drinks to her when we saw her at a restaurant, a show, anywhere we saw her. Didn’t change a thing….all because we had priority tendering!
  4. Looking forward to your review. We loved Prima in March. And there have been a few posts here that the comediens are now in the theater.
  5. You'll love Escape but it is different from Prima.
  6. That's pretty good! Iike your suggestion despite it probably not showing up the corporate "urgent matters" meeting agenda!
  7. Sounds like a plan. But I don't know if Finateri is going to agree with your thought process. NCL is on the hook for these new ships on order.
  8. I believe NCL will make one, possibly two of their ships adults only ships in the next two years.
  9. Exactamundo. I have no idea if I will like it. Avoiding to some, I should just accept the reviews and cancel my sailing. Let others decide for me. Sounds like a good idea.
  10. I agree reviews are bad. But I’ll argue that when Encore, Bliss, Escape rolled out reviews were bad too (I read all of them!). Prima is the first big jump in years for NCL regarding shipbuild, design, upgrades. And like Celebrity cruisers who despise Edge, Beyond, preferring Sillouhette and Reflection ships, let's see how it plays out.
  11. Sorry. I don’t pay 40% over my cruise fare in fees. That’s a pretty big number to throw out there.
  12. Agreed. I’m looking forward to enjoying some of the differences from Breakaway class. Will determine then if the additional expense is worth to continue on Prima class!
  13. Prima is expensive. I spent a lot of money for my upcoming March Prima cruise also with Vibe passes. But my other NCL cruises are usually 60-70% of that new ship Prima smell!
  14. And I believe that to be true. I don’t think I was wrong with the narrative being put out there by vloggers and YouTubers that NCL was the only line who raised or didn’t cut pricing.
  15. The hateful like comment is funny! True… but still funny.
  16. And I understand the clickbait and shock jock mentality gets subscriptions and views; just don’t see how the price is lower on other lines. After my one mock booking, I’m such an expert!!!
  17. Agree. The reaction from the vloggers cruise was surprising to me.
  18. Makes sense Dave. I just travelled Celebrity for the first time over the holidays. I liked it but missed the casual wear at dinner (silly I know!). And the included gratuities and unlimited wifi was nice. A big drop off for me was the different entertainment, much smaller scale than NCL. However, I was on an older Celebrity ship and cannot comment if the newer ships have better more large scale entertainment. The cruise director and his staff were phenomenal on my holiday Celebrity trip.
  19. I think we’re thinking the same. I’m willing to pay NCL for the included drinks and dining package.
  20. That’s fine. But then my argument carries over to YouTube sites and vloggers stating NCL has increased prices while other lines haven’t? Is that comparison spot on for only that moment in time also? I’m still left unsure what is the basis for such comments. I agree my one mock booking can be impacted by so many different factors. And if your screen name indicates a loyalty to Disney, I get that. Disney has a product unlike any other; it carries a price that many understand going in is going to be elevated for the Disney experience. When I took my family to Disney when my daughter was young, I knew I was paying more for that Disney experience, unique to theme parks anywhere else. I don’t compare Disney to NCL cruises; different type of passengers most of the time.
