  2. If you are parking long term, back in to the spot, it makes it a lot easier if you have to boost the vehicle when you come back.
  3. Yes, but they don’t change the displayed departure times until it is late leaving so you have to be at the airport on time. I have told the wife to plan on sitting in the terminal for a bit. Timmie’s is open till 5PM and Cork and Wells closes at 6 PM so bring some snacks.
  4. Porter is turning Ottawa into a hub it seems, they are also building the maintenance facility for their embrair planes here.
  5. We always fly down at least 2 days prior for a cruise, that way flight delays don’t bother us much.

  7. No but I will ask when we fly next week if they are still leaving with delays. The last two flights left on time.
  8. We have the direct YOW-FLL flight booked with Porter for next week. I was checking after they started flying Nov 30 and they were consistently departing 2 to 4 hours late, though they never cancelled a flight. The last two flights have left and arrived on time so here is hoping they sorted whatever the problem was. Ive told the wife hope to leave on time but plan for a delay. We always fly down a couple of days prior to the cruise and its a direct flight so not worried.

  10. We just received our medallions for our 23 Dec sailing I got the email on the 29th of November it had a USPS tracking number the tracking number never worked The medallions showed up today (8 Dec) via Canada post Xpresspost from a Mississauga, Ontario address.
  11. Any new updates on the local situation.
  12. Just got our medallions delivered by Canada Post Xpresspost. So for Canadians it is taking about 9 days, Ignore the USPS tracking number sent as it does not seem to have anything to do with our delivery or it is not traceable by us.
  13. Are there good places to buy local coffee near the cruise pier in Puntarenas or are we better to do the tour to the coffee plantation ?

  15. Ours are coming to Canada, you would think if they were coming from overseas they would come directly here and not have to travel though the US. Everyone else sending packages for Christmas is probably not helping either.
  16. So as USPS is still not tracking this number I called Princess to check on this out of curiosity. They transferred me over to Ocean Ready and the lady there seemed to be saying that they would actually ship on the 11th or 12th of Dec (cruise is on 23rd). I asked if she meant they are expected to arrive on the 11/12 or if they are just shipped on this date. She said "Yes" and I couldn't get here to clarify. So I will wait and see. Not the worst thing if they dont arrive before we leave as we just have to do blue lane and get new medallions but I would prefer to have them and do Green lane. Since, from what I am reading, they don't seem to have a priority lane for Platinum/Elite members any more we just have to get in line with everyone else.
  17. I received the notification that my medallions had shipped (to Canada) last Wednesday. In the email there is a USPS tracking number and a link to their tracking page but so far it keeps saying "Status Not Available". Has anyone else had this issue ? Is the number they are using not trackable ?
  18. So load the two apps and run them S2S while doing a S2S cruise 😉 ?
  19. How long prior to cruise do they normally ship out for Canada?
