Is there somewhere to temporarily store your luggage at the San Pedro cruise port when disembarking for a short time ? Just checking in case we want to visit the Iowa before heading to the airport.
Quite a bit of discussion here, however we in North America have a major problem with our Tipping Culture. Its to the point where its almost a service charge now not a tip. I appreciate good service and like leaving tips for the waiters and staff that do a good job however it is getting out of hand. There are countries we visit where tips are not expected and sometimes they will give back money left on the table.
We always leave a large tip to the cabin stewart at the end of the cruise before leaving the room as they have always given exceptional service.
Pretty much all of the above if you can find a quiet area. I am partial to watching it from my balcony you usually get one or the other during the day. Watching the sunrise while sipping a hot coffee or sipping a glass of wine and watching the sunset. I like the running track up on star deck aft on the ruby/emerald class ships.
Also the moon can be beautiful over the water, remember looking out one night from our balcony at the moon over the water while two other ships were sailing abeam of us on the same course in that direction.
The thing that really needs fixing is the
2 x casual dining
2 x fitness classes
They are per cruise, if you do a 7, 10, 14, 15 or longer cruise you only get two of each. It should be per 7 days to make it fair. There is no incentive for longer cruises.
Actually if they do like Air Canada did when they tested this for international flights people on the same booking where one is on the window get boarded first and together. It was actually pretty good, mostly keeps things moving and kept someone (who boarded with their zone on time) from having to have people come out to get to their spot.
I am seeing that now with the app and medallions there is a green line and a blue line. What about platinum/elite passengers? Is there still a priority lane or has that been lost amongst other things?
The other thing with these premium packages, from what I have read is that you get "Per Cruise"
2 x Casual Dining
2 x Fitness sessions
Per cruise is the same if you have a 7 day a 15 day or a 22 day cruise from what I have seen. That's a ripoff, it should be per 7 days.
