  1. Book two staterooms, double the amenities, problem solved. And well worth it!!!
  2. I can’t help you on the deposit question as we use a travel agent and that person takes care of these kind of issues. But, I am here to inform you that the grandchild will be born November 2nd, so you could go on the cruise and still be back in time for the birth. enjoy your cruises and grandchild!!!
  3. Since you need a particular vintage that is not available on the ship for medical reasons, I will help you out with your back to back issue. Yes, you could bring 4 four bottles of your medically necessary wine onto the ship on the first day. And then bring two more bottles upon embarkation of the second cruise. (Of course, this requires you to head to the store between cruises to pick up said bottles)
  4. While there is still some complaining, on Royal people never complain about tipping, dress codes, chair hogs, smoking, loud music or those that arrive outside their self chosen arrival times.
  5. Removing gratuities does not necessarily mean non tipping. We lived in the cash tip era for a long time after auto grat became the norm. But money hasn’t been an issue for us since 1989, so we always paid a decent amount of cash. please give up worrying about other people’s habits. Be yourself… penny pincher or generous. Life is way too short to be concerned about what other do or don’t do.
  6. R-E-L-A-X. Just returned. Do a week or so in light deprivation and all will be clear. Re-sign with the Packers.
  7. At 10am (for most ports of call)…watch video, listen to ship horn. Immediately after boarding go straight to muster station and check in. Next Get blind drunk on Beverage Package. Problems solved -no makeup muster.
  8. Easily a table for 8 with uncle Joe at a table by himself.
  9. The Passenger Services staff are told to tell any men canceling their tips that they must wear a tie on formal nights, so that they are easy for others to spot. (See I got a dress code and tipping thread mixed together)
  10. A corny of your favorite IPA isn’t allowed, but for those that can carry a full barrel, it’s a go!!!
  11. No. If they are a billionaire… I would say cautious with their cash.
  12. Just to be the first write it and hopefully the highest claimed amount, we give $12,000 per meal in the MDR as a gratuity each night.
  13. Maximum Posters probably shouldn’t wonder about the level busyness in bodies. They’re supposed to be retired. Wear what you will. Half of us will look great. This half will look okay.
  14. I suggest you keep a record of which cards you used. Not that it happens everyday, but when Panny the Demic hit, my thousands of dollars of gift card payments were returned to the various cards. 2023, we are finally getting around to using them on Princess. (We had a billion in RCL to use too)
  15. Fly first class, the airline prints the passes for you. (If you ask)
  16. The money the cruise line controls goes into a variety of different sized swimming pools. The cash I give goes into their trunks.
  17. Google knows when you go to the bathroom and is watching. I haven’t found the medallion all that big of a deal. Not convenient for my cruise life, but not really a hindrance either. Card - Medallion don’t care.
  18. Is someone suggesting that I try to corner the market on Rum runner "bags"?
  19. Casitas are worth $ 73.75 for a day. Of course, they aren’t being rented for that price, see guest services. On the Navigator, bring some chalk for announcing that the King and Queen of Piglatinia will be holding court. But brush up on your Latin before your cruise.
  20. Because one can order surf and turf and the other gets double surf.
  21. Bring the ranch shake container. Hit your salad, hash browns, filet, sprinkle on your Bloody Mary. Enjoy!
  22. Hand the wait staff a $100 bill per person when you make the request.
